Radio Host Hal Turner Trial #3 Begins

Brooklyn, NY – (http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com/) -- Radio Host and Blogger Hal Turner went on trial today for the THIRD time in 14 months after the government arrested him for uttering a nasty opinion about three federal judges.

Jury selection in the case began just before 10:00 AM and a jury of nine women and three men was seated by 2 PM.

Turner was charged with “threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges” after he wrote an editorial on his talk-radio web site last June. In that Editorial, Turner outlined how the three judges intentionally violated the US Constitution and intentionally violated a 2008 Supreme Court case involving gun control laws in Chicago.

The judges ruled that the Second Amendment only applied to the federal government and not to cities or states. Hence, they said, the Second Amendment did not apply in Chicago.

Turner read the ruling and published a news story about it on his popular talk-radio web site. In the Editorial, Turner analyzed the judge’s ruling and pointed out how they violated the Constitution. Turner criticized the judges, saying they were “traitors” and calling them “tyrants.” He went on to quote one of the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson, who wrote “The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots.” Turner said “It is time to replenish the tree.”

Turner said that the reason so many judges ignore the Constitution is because “. . . . .they have not, in our lifetime, faced REAL free men willing to walk up to them and kill them for their defiance and disobedience.”

He went on to write “Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed. Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty; a small price to pay to assure freedom for millions.”

The US Attorney in Chicago claims that saying the judges “deserve” to be killed is a “threat” to actually go kill them. Turner says “deserve” is an opinion; and in America, people are free to speak their opinions.

PROSECUTOR BOUNCED FROM CASE

Notably missing from today’s trial was Assistant US Attorney (AUSA) William Hogan. It turns out that Hogan was bounced from the case after repeatedly alienating Judge Donald Walter, and likely because of Hogan’s long track record of sleazy tactics.

Replacing Hogan as lead prosecutor was AUSA Diane MacArthur (photo to left). While everyone hoped the sleaze in the case would be done, it wasn’t. Ms. MacArthur almost immediately resorted to filthy smear tactics, which may have violated a recent ruling by the Judge in the case.

Last week, prior to the start of today’s trial, the Defense filed a Motion to prevent the government from raising any racial issues, any racial remarks or any racial-oriented material from Turner’s web site. Judge Donald Walter granted that Motion. Yet when Ms. MacArthur gave the government’s opening statement, she told Jurors about Turner’s “. . . . . . Audience of White Supremacists.”

In addition, Ms. MacArthur told Jurors that Hal Turner had been recruited by the FBI for several years, but that relationship ended two years ago. As such, she said, “Mr. Turner charted his own path.”

What was so amazing about this admission is that the government had previously asked the court to bar Mr. Turner and his lawyers from mentioning anything about his role with the FBI unless Mr. Turner took the Witness stand. The Judge granted that government Motion, and Turner was prevented from making any mention of his FBI ties during his second trial until Turner himself took the stand.

Today, AUSA MacArthur “opened the door” by mentioning Turner’s role with the FBI in her opening statement. When her statement was finished, the Defense asked the Judge to be able to make an opening statement and to also mention Turner’s FBI role because the government had opened that door. The Judge DENIED that motion!

Turner’s Defense Team is still forbidden from giving an opening statement until after the government’s case is done and is still forbidden from asking government witnesses about Turner’s role with the FBI until Turner himself takes to the Witness Stand. Interesting double-standard; the government gets to do what it wants while the Defense has its hands tied.

JUDGES TO TESTIFY AGAIN

When trial resumes tomorrow, the government is expected to call the three Judges from the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals (mentioned in Turner’s Editorial) to testify again. They testified at Turner’s second trial, which took place in March, 2010, but failed to convince that jury. The second trial ended with a Hung Jury which is why Turner is on trial for an astonishing THIRD TIME this week.

The fact that three federal judges testified against a defendant at Turner’s second trial, was historic. It was the first time in United States history that such a thing ever took place. History will be made again tomorrow when those same three judges take the Witness Stand again.

This time, however, the Turner defense team has something more to work with: Last month, the US Supreme Court overturned the Chicago Gun Control Decision made by these three judges. This means that Hal Turner was right in his June, 2009 Editorial and the three judges in the case were wrong.

What’s so sad – and dangerous – is that the same way these three 7th Circuit Judge tried to shred the right to keep and bear arms, they are now trying to shred the right to freedom of speech. They are trying to imprison Hal TUrner for TEN YEARS by claiming his opinion was a threat.

TRIAL #3 of Hal Turner Begins Aug 10

The start of this latest trial was moved one day, from Aug. 9, to August 10 to accommodate a witness.

U.S. Declares "Terrorist" Groups

(http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com/) – The United States government has officially designated a number of American organizations to be “Terrorism Enterprises” and many of those designations befall folks in the “pro-white” movement. Specifically, Aryan Nations, Sheriff’s Posse Comitatus, the National Socialist Movement (NAZIS), and the Ku Klux Klan are officially declared to be “terrorism enterprises” but they are not alone. Left-wing groups and “single issue” groups also made the government list.

A “terrorism Enterprise” is defined by the Attorney General Guidelines as follows: “when facts or circumstances reasonably indicate that two or more persons are engaged in an enterprise for the purpose of: (1) furthering political or social goals wholly or in part through activities that involve force or violence and a federal crime, (2) engaging in terrorism as defined in 18 V.S.C. 2331(1) or (5) that involves a federal crime, or (3) committing any offense described in 18 V.S.C. 2332b(g)(5)(B).

The most serious designation fell upon The National Alliance in Hillsboro WV. That group is officially a “designated domestic terrorism group operating within the United States.”

The groups were selected primarily from the American Terrorism Study, carried out by the National Institutes of Justice (NIJ), a project that involves data collection on all persons indicted as a result of an FBI "terrorism enterprise" investigation as defined above.

“Left-wing terrorist groups” generally refer to those that adhere to a "forward-looking" ideology, one that advocates a political or social system that has not existed before in the United States. Typically associated with extreme liberalism, examples include the May 19th Communist Party, the Weather Underground, and the Black Liberation Army.

“Right-wing terrorist groups” generally refer to those that adhere to a "backward-looking" ideology, one that advocates a return to a political or social system that is perceived to have existed previously in the United States. Typically associated with extreme conservatism, examples include the KKK, white supremacy groups like the Aryan Nations or groups like the Sheriff's Posse Comitatus that oppose centralized federal power.

“Single-issue terrorist groups” are those that advocate on behalf of a particular political or social issue, such as anti-abortion or the environment. Yes, you read that correctly: Some Pro-life groups are now viewed by the United States government through the lens of “domestic terrorist groups.”

Other now-designated “Terrorism Enterprise” single-issue groups include the Earth Liberation Front (ELF), the Animal Liberation Front (ALF). Even People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is viewed as being “linked” to terrorism because of its cooperation with the Animal Liberation Front (ALF).

Anyone affiliated with any of the “Terrorism Enterprise” groups mentioned in this story is officially suspected of being a “terrorist.” However, since The National Alliance has been designated a Domestic Terrorism Group operating within the United States, anyone who belongs to that organization is not merely “suspected” of being a terrorist, they are actually “designated” as terrorists!

Monetary donations to any of these groups is now being viewed by the Justice Department through the lens of “material support of terrorist activities.” One major problem for average Americans is that their innocent and well-intentioned support of any of these groups -- even pro-life groups -- might result in their names being added to the ever-growing “terrorist watch lists.”

Information for this story was obtained, in part, from the "Geospatial Analysis of Terrorist Activities, (GATA)" carried out through the National Institutes of Justice (NIJ) under financial Grant # 2005-IJ-CX-0200. The GATA was distributed to law enforcement agencies and to Intelligence Operatives who handle National Security, Terrorism and Foreign Counter-Intelligence.

We publish this information because we believe it proves that the federal government is out of control and has become destructive to freedom in the same way it has now attacked our family member, Radio Host and Blogger, Hal Turner. Hal was arrested on June 24, 2009 after publishing an Editorial which was critical of the way three federal Judges violated the US Constitution and violated a recent US Supreme Court Ruling. Hal wrote that the Judges were "traitors" to the United States and were tyrants. He quoted Thomas Jefferson's "Tree of Liberty Letter" which said "The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots." Hal then wrote "Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed."

The government claims that saying the judges "deserve to be killed" is a “threat” to actually go out and kill them! Hal knows that saying someone "deserves" something is just an opinion; it is perfectly lawful free speech. Frighteningly, based on what he wrote, the government charged Hal with "threatening to assault and murder three United States judges."

Hal went on trial in December, 2009 and the Jury deadlocked with a vote of 9 to 3 in favor of Acquittal. A mistrial was declared so the government put him on trial a second time in March, 2010. As before, the Jury deadlocked and another mistrial was declared. Astonishingly, the government decided to put Hal on trial for a THIRD time. That trial is scheduled to begin on or about August 10 at the federal courthouse in Brooklyn, NY.

The situation with Hal Turner is more evidence that the government is out of control. You see, it came out at trial that Hal actually worked for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force from 2003 – 2007. The FBI itself trained Hal in the lawful use of violent rhetoric. Hal knew exactly where the line was between lawful and unlawful speech, so he knew that what he wrote was legal.

In fact, it also came out at trial that the FBI paid Hal $3,000 in March, 2005, to go on national television and say the same thing about another judge in Chicago! Hal appeared on “DATELINE NBC” and on FOX NEWS CHANNEL one day later. If it was legal for Hal to say a judge was “worthy of being killed” in the year 2005, then it was legal for him to say it again in 2009. The law has not changed.

The prosecution of Hal Turner for daring to express an obnoxious opinion is dangerous for all Americans. If the government can criminalize Hal Turner’s opinion, they can criminalize YOURS.

The fact they would do this to “one of their own” is a betrayal so vicious that every American should worry. If they are doing this to Hal Turner, rest assured they will do it to you.

Supreme Court Vindicates Hal Turner

(http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com/) The United States Supreme Court today overturned a decision by the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals concerning a ban on handguns in Chicago. It was a victory for gun-rights and vindication of radio host and Blogger, Hal Turner.

In June, 2009, the 7th US Circuit ignored the "supremacy clause" of the US Constitution, ignored the Second Amendment and ignored a 2008 landmark ruling by the Supreme Court which struck down bans on handguns as unconstitutional.

Instead of obeying the Constitution and the recently decided Supreme court case, the 7th US Circuit upheld Chicago's ban on handgun ownership. It was, quite simply, an arrogant act of disobedience by a defiant court.

700 miles away, radio host and blogger Hal Turner criticized the 7th US Circuit for their defiant ruling. Turner named three Judges on that court, called them "traitors" and "tyrants" for what they did. Turner went on to quote Thomas Jefferson who wrote "The tree of Liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots." Turner then wrote that the judges "deserve to be killed" for violating the constitution.

The following day, Turner looked-up the judges on Google's search engine. He found their public photos and added those photos to his original blog posting. Turner also went to the public web site of the 7th US Circuit and found the publicly listed courthouse addresses for each of those judges. He added those public courthouse addresses to his original posting. Later, Turner looked up a photo of the courthouse and a map of the neighborhood in downtown Chicago. He added the public courthouse photo and Google Map to his original post.

Twenty days later, the US Attorney's Office in Chicago ordered Turner to be arrested on a charge of "threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges." They claim that saying the Judges "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually go kill them. Turner says the word "deserve" is an opinion which Americans are free to express.

Turner went on trial in December, 2009 and during that trial, Assistant US Attorney (AUSA) William Hogan told the jury that Turner had "twisted" views of what the US Constitution means. Today, a year later, it turns out that Hal Turner was correct! The US Supreme Court sided with Turner's view of the US Constitution by overturning the 7th US Circuit's opinion in the Chicago handgun ban case. Hal Turner was right, AUSA William Hogan and the Judges on the 7th US Circuit were wrong.

Looks like the only people with a "twisted" view of the Constitution are the US Attorney's Office and the Judges in Chicago.

Guess what else? Hal Turner's view about his words being protected by the First Amendment is right, too. The government and Judge in Turner's ongoing case, are wrong. They're ignoring the First Amendment and 50 years of Supreme Court case law just like the 7th US Circuit ignored the Second Amendment and case law. Birds-of-a-feather flock together.

The real shame of the ongoing case of Hal Turner is that the Jury in Trial #1 was deadlocked; they voted 9 to 3 in favor of Acquittal. The deadlocked Jury caused a mistrial and Turner was put on Trial a second time in March, 2010.

At that second trial, the Jury was also deadlocked, causing a second mistrial. Amazingly, the US Attorney's Office announced they would put Turner on trial for a THIRD time! That trial is presently scheduled to begin August 9 at the US Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY. It is open to the public.

Now that the US Supreme Court has adopted what was ostensibly Hal Turner's view of the Constitution, it ought to be funny for Turner's defense team to use that at Trial #3. It should be great fun when the 3 Judges from the 7th US Circuit come back to New York to testify once again only this time, the Defense gets to point out to the Jury that these arrogant Judges were, in fact, wrong, and Hal Turner was right.

AUSA Hogan wen t out of his way to say that Turner did not go to law school and was not a Constitutional Scholar. He's not a Swiss Watchmaker either; that doesn't mean he can't read and understand a clock.

Hal Turner is right; the government is wrong. Too bad neither the government nor the Judge in the case are educated enough to admit they're wrong.

Constitution Shredded in Hal Turner "Threat" Case

One year ago, on June 24, 2009, the United States Government began a full frontal assault upon freedom of speech and shredded the US Constitution when it arrested radio host and blogger, Hal Turner. Earlier that month on June 2 and 3, Turner committed the unspeakable act of writing his opinion about three federal judges, 700 miles away from him, in Chicago. The government didn’t like Turner’s opinion and arrested him for it!

Before we go any further, we wish to make clear that The family of Hal Turner has no intention of taking any action against anyone based on information appearing in this article and YOU, the readers, should not take any action against anyone as a result of anything in this article either.

Under no circumstances should you, the reader, take any action which would violate any law as a result of anything you read here. We present this detailed article to show you the frightening and tragic events taking place, right now, as a result of the government ignoring freedom of speech.

The following (long) article is a compilation from letters written by Hal Turner to his family, friends and to the news media during the months he was held in prison. It also includes information from sources closely involved with the case during two full federal criminal trials but who are no longer part of the case.

The situation began when Judges in Chicago issued a ruling in a lawsuit which sought to overturn the ban on handgun ownership in Chicago. In that ruling, the Judges ignored the Second Amendment to the US Constitution and further ignored a recent US Supreme Court case on the same issue. They let stand a ban on handgun ownership, saying the Second Amendment to the Constitution does not apply to places like Chicago because those places are creations of the states and not federal entities!

The fact that the Constitution is the supreme law of our land, didn’t matter to these Judges. The fact that the Second Amendment is part of the Constitution and is thus part of the supreme law of our land, didn’t matter to these judges. The fact that the Fourteenth Amendment applies the US Constitution to the states, didn’t matter to these judges. The fact that in 2008, the US Supreme Court struck down a similar handgun ban in Washington, DC for violating the Second Amendment, also didn’t matter to these judges. Their ruling ignored all those things and allowed the Chicago handgun ban to remain in place.

Hal Turner, writing on his “TurnerRadioNetwork.blogspot.com” web site, identified the judges by name and called them “Traitors” to the United States. He described them as “tyrants” and quoted one of the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson, who wrote “The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots.” Turner went on to say the judges “deserve to be killed” for betraying the nation.

The next day, Turner looked up each judge on Google. In the “Image” section of Google, Turner found about twenty public photos of Judge Frank Easterbrook. (Here) then found public photos of Judge William Bauer (Here ) and even more public photos of Judge Richard Posner (Here). Those photos were put online by other people over many years and are all available to anyone for free!

Turner then went to the web site of the 7^th US Circuit court of appeals and found the three Judges official, public, mailing address and phone number at their courthouse.

Turner then went back on Google and found a photo of the federal courthouse in Chicago, (Here) and a Google map which shows how to get to that public building (Here )

REMINDER: DO NOT TAKE ANY ACTION AGAINST ANYONE AS A RESULT OF THE INFORMATION ABOVE. DO NOT VIOLATE ANY LAW!

One day after his original article, Turner added the public photos, public office address, public picture of the courthouse and a public map to the courthouse. All the information was already public; already online. None of it was secret.

Twenty-one days later, the US Attorney’s Office in Chicago sent FBI Agent Mark Wallschlaeger from Chicago to New Jersey with a Search Warrant. Wallschlaeger executed that Warrant at Turner’s New Jersey home with about 11 other FBI people. We’re told it was quite a fiasco having so many federal agents and a couple of local cops, in the condo where Turner lives.

According to Turner’s wife, Phyllis and their son, Michael, Wallschlaeger argued by phone with the US Attorney’s Office, telling them “I don’t have probable cause to arrest this guy.” Wallschlaeger was then ordered to arrest Turner.

SURPRISE! TURNER WORKED WITH THE FBI

At that point, Turner’s family says he revealed to Agent Wallschlaeger that he had worked as an intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in Newark, NJ. Turner went on to say he had been fully trained by the FBI itself in the use of violent rhetoric, and what he wrote on his blog was, in fact, legal to say. In fact, Turner had used the exact same words about other judges in Chicago just four years earlier on national TV and was paid $3000 by the FBI for doing it!

This prompted Wallschlaeger to telephone Chicago again. According to Phyllis and Michael Turner, both of whom heard those phone calls, Wallschlaeger told Chicago “this guy was with the JTTF. . . . . This thing is going to blow up in our face.” Awhile later, someone from Chicago called back and told Wallschlaeger to arrest Turner on a charge of “threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges.”

The US Attorney in Chicago claims that Turner saying the judges “deserve to be killed” is a “threat” to actually go kill them! Turner says the word “deserve” is an opinion and in America, people are free to express their opinions. The First Amendment be damned, in “the land of the free” Hal Turner was on his way to jail because the government didn’t like his opinion.

ARREST? FORGET THAT; LET’S DO LUNCH!

Agent Wallschlaeger, from FBI Chicago, thought the charge against Turner was such bullshit that instead of taking him to the FBI Office in Newark, NJ to be processed, he took Turner to McDonald’s and bought him lunch! The official FBI arrest report confirms this fact. (That report is public information as it was shown in federal court in December.)

After being processed at the FBI building in Newark, Turner was held in the Newark City Jail on Green Street that first night. He slept on a wooden bench, no blanket or pillow and no food. Welcome to the criminal justice system.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, IN ACTION. . . . .

Then next morning, Turner was to encounter a very dangerous individual: an uppity, affirmative action appointee with power; United States Magistrate Judge Michael Shipp.

The Assistant US Attorney in New Jersey argued to Judge Shipp that Hal Turner was dangerous because he said things on the radio and on his web site which caused the government “concern.” He went on to quote the Anti-Defamation League and others who also didn’t like things Turner said in the past. One of the conditions the US Attorney sought if Bail was granted was that Turner would be banned from using the Internet once released on Bail.

Turner’s lawyer, Michael Orozco of the law firm, Bailey-Orozco in Newark, NJ appeared on Turner’s behalf and argued in favor of Bail. Turner’s brother was willing to co-Sign bail, Turner’s mom was willing to put her Pennsylvania home up as collateral and Turner himself was willing to comply with whatever restrictions were ultimately put in place.

The Affirmative-Action-Appointee-Judge recessed the Hearing so that the value of the mother’s house could be ascertained and the financial abilities of Turner’s brother could be verified. Just before being taken out of the courtroom, Turner’s attorney, Michael Orozco, quietly and privately revealed to the Assistant US Attorney for New Jersey, that Turner had been with the FBI. The Asst. US Attorney appeared flabbergasted; absolutely incredulous. He told Orozco “Hal Turner was never with the FBI; he has no credibility whatsoever.” Turner was then taken to the Essex County Jail in Newark to spend the weekend.

While at the Jail, Turner called his lawyer and asked if it was OK for him to record an “update” for posting on his web site so he could tell his radio audience what was going on. The attorney, Michael Orozco told Turner that it was OK since no actual terms of Bail had been ORDERED. So, Turner recorded the update and it was posted on Turner’s web site. When Turner was brought back into court a few days later, the government went absolutely berserk over the “Update.” They claimed that Turner had violated the agreement to stay off the internet by having his audio update put out.

Even though there was no actual agreement, and; even though there was no ORDER forbidding such a posting, and; even though Turner made no threat to do anything to anyone, the affirmative-action-appointee, Magistrate Shipp, put the kibosh on Bail. He ordered Turner “Held pending removal to the Northern District of Illinois.”

Hal Turner was to be held without Bail until he was taken by US Marshall’s to Chicago where the complaint had been signed against him. So much for the Constitutional right to Bail.

This is what happens when you give an unqualified person, real power. Magistrate Michael Shipp clearly got his job because he has the right skin color and the Constitution got shredded because Shipp was too dumb to tell the difference between an opinion and a threat. Affirmative Action strikes again.

COULD HAVE WALKED TO CHICAGO FASTER

Turner remained in the Essex County Jail – in protective custody -- for about the next two weeks. The Essex County Sheriff’s Department told Turner that news of his arrest “was all over the newspapers and on TV” and that he needed to be put in protective custody because “in jail, if people think you’re famous, they can get famous too by hurting you.”

Protective Custody is actually solitary confinement. A prisoner is locked-in a cell 23 hours a day; allowed out for only one hour per day to shower or walk the 50’ long hallway for exercise.” The prisoner eats, drinks, sleeps and stays in his cell, alone.

About two weeks later, US Marshals arrived to take Turner to Chicago. They departed Essex County Jail with Turner handcuffed, chained and shackled. They drove to Stewart Air Force Base in Newburgh, NY where Turner boarded a “Con-Air” flight; a planeload of prisoners. To Turner’s surprise, the plane wasn’t going to Chicago, it was going to the Federal Transfer Center (FTC) in Oklahoma City, OK.

The FTC is located right on the property of the Roy Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City. The Con-Air flight landed, turned left, right, left and left again, pulling right up to the jail itself.

Inside, new arrivals are strip-searched (naked) in groups of ten men at a time, given new prison clothing and sent to a bull-pen for processing. There’s paperwork to fill out; a prisoner’s medical history, whom to notify if a prisoner dies, etc. Very late that night, Turner was brought to his cell – in general population – with his new celly, Carlos Torres, a 30-something year old, convicted double murderer from Tennessee. For writing his opinion, Hal Turner was now bunking with a murderer.

According to family members we spoke to, Turner stayed in general population in Oklahoma for about the next week. Then, one morning around 3 AM, he was told “Turner, pack your shit, you’re leaving.” A while later, he was taken downstairs, strip-searched, handcuffed, chained and shackled along with maybe 200 other prisoners, and made to wait for several hours to board the plane out.

Turns out, the plane was broken. Everybody had to be taken back in, strip-searched again, given new clothes, again, and sent back to the cell block.

According to US Marshals at the FTC, the plane had trouble with its air conditioning. A few weeks or so earlier, in Utah, the air conditioning on a similar plane failed with a plane full of prisoners. The Marshals said the prisoners were made to stay on the plane, on the tarmac in desert heat, for six hours until one of them, a forty-something year old, dropped dead on the plane from heat stroke! Marshals said a lot of prisoners were vomiting from the heat, so they wouldn’t put any prisoners on the plane until they knew the Air Conditioning was working. Gee, it only took one death for them to figure that out.

A few hours after being returned to the cell block, several uniformed officers from the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) came looking for Turner. According to family members we spoke to, they took him out in the hallway, threw him up against a wall and handcuffed him. When Turner asked what was going on, he was told, “We’re taking you to the SHU, the Special Housing Unit.” When Turner asked what he’d done wrong to warrant being punished, he was told “You have been declared a high threat risk; a threat to government. “

Turner was taken into “Administrative Segregation,” (Ad. Seg.). In common parlance, he was put “in the hole.”

THE “SHU”

The SHU is where prisoners are sent when they violate prison rules. It houses the worst of the worst. Hal Turner wrote an OPINION the government didn’t like and he was now being treated like a terrorist!

This is the Obama Administration. This is how they deal with speech they don’t like. Some people call Obama a “Socialist.” They’re wrong; he’s an outright Communist. Think we exaggerate? Look how they treat American citizen Hal Turner who had the nerve to dissent! It gets worse; much worse.

In the SHU, Turner’s new celly was a guy named Thomas English. Mr. English was a drug dealer whose little brother got murdered in a drug deal gone bad. Mr. English hunted down the dealer who killed his little brother and murdered the dealer. When Mr. English was sent to prison, he claims to have encountered a Cho-Mo (child molester). According to Thomas English, he “shanked” the Cho-Mo so badly, the guy lost one testicle and needed a colostomy bag. This was Hal Turner’s new celly.

Mr. English was freed from the SHU a few days later and got word to theTurner family that Turner had been placed in The SHU. Turner himself was not allowed to make any phone calls and could only write letters once a week – on a Wednesday -- so Turner had no way to get word to anyone about his new circumstance.

Later, Turner got a new celly, Matt Benjamin, a convicted gun runner from Texas. According to Hal’s wife, Phyllis, this guy entered the cell, got on the top bunk, pulled a sheet over himself (head to toe) and announced from underneath the sheet “This is my fortress of solitude, I do not want to be disturbed.” Oh. Great.

We won’t tell you what this guy was DOING underneath his sheet, but you might venture a guess. Imagine being trapped in a cell with this for 23 hours a day.

A few more days went by and Turner was awoken to get on another Con-Air plane to take him to Chicago. The plane went first to Indianapolis, then to Detroit and finally, Chicago.

WELCOME TO FEDERAL PRISON – MCC CHICAGO

Apparently, when a prisoner is called first on a Con-Air flight, the guy is trouble. Guess who got called first when the plane landed in Chicago? Yep. Hal Turner.

Bureau of Prisons Lieutenant Diamond boarded the plane, called for Turner and escorted him down the stairs to the tarmac. He told Turner to “Stay Here and don’t move” until they got every other prisoner off the plane and onto waiting buses. As the other prisoners disembarked, Lt. Diamond pointed to Turner and told them, “Stay away from this guy, he’s dangerous.” Turner was taken to his bus, last.

The ride from Chicago’s O’Hare airport to the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) takes about 45 minutes. MCC is a regular-looking, 24 story office building in downtown Chicago. While it looks like an office building, it is a medium security federal prison.

Upon arrival, the bus entered a secure garage where prisoners are normally taken to a bull pen, given new clothes, given a prison ID card and assigned cells. Not Hal Turner. He was taken off the bus first, walked directly to a waiting elevator, whisked to the 11^th floor, taken off, strip searched - where the crown on his front tooth was taken from him because “it might be used as a weapon” - then walked directly to an empty cell in The SHU. Hal Turner was back in 23 hour lockdown. Alone.

MCC has all sorts of prisoners in it: Murderers, Rapists, Armed Robbers, Gang-Bangers, Drug King Pins and the like. While all of them got to be in general population, socialize with each other, play games, watch TV, watch movies, use the telephone, eat together, shower every day and even work-out on the rooftop gym, Hal Turner could not.

Hal was locked down 23 hours a day. No TV, no radio, no television, no videos, no games, no phone. He was told he would be allowed to phone his lawyer once per week, and his family only once per MONTH!

While the murderers, rapists, robbers and the like could use the rooftop gym once a day, Turner could not. Instead, he was taken to a “cage” within the SHU. The “Cage” is a 10’ x 20’ cage in the middle of the cellblock with a pull-up bar and a broken exercise bike in it. That was Turner’s “recreation.”

Turner was allowed to shower only on Mondays, Wednesdays a Fridays, but there was an additional snag. Since Turner was declared a high threat risk and a threat to government, he was placed on “3-Man Hold.” What that meant is that whenever Turner was to be taken out of his cell for any reason, three (3) guards had to be present to physically HOLD ONTO HIM as he was walked wherever he was going! In the Bureau of Prisons, Fridays are considered “weekends” so there wasn’t enough prison staff to meet the 3-Man Hold criteria. What this meant is that once Hal Turner got his one hour of recreation on Thursday, he was kept inside his cell, TWENTY FOUR (24) hours a day until Monday! No recreation and no shower over the weekends.

Turner arrived in Chicago on a Thursday; thirty days after he was remanded pending removal to Northern Illinois. He could have walked from New Jersey to Chicago faster than the system got him there.

ARRAIGNMENT

Turner was taken to the US Courthouse in downtown Chicago the next morning to be arraigned. Even though Asst. US Attorney (AUSA)William Hogan had been called almost every single day by Turner’s attorney, Michael Orozco, Hogan didn’t tell Orozco that Turner had arrived in Chicago!

Turner was brought to the courthouse to be arraigned, without an attorney! When Turner flatly refused to appear in court without his attorney, he was taken back to MCC and allowed to call his lawyer. It was the first time in two full weeks that Turner had any contact with the outside world.

Orozco flew to Chicago that night and met with Turner at MCC the following day, Saturday. Despite the meeting being Attorney-Client, and thereby privileged, Turner was not allowed to be in the same room as his lawyer! The two were separated by glass and steel, kept under constant video surveillance and forced to communicate via a monitored telephone! Turner was even kept hand-cuffed and chained while in that meeting!!

After the meeting, Turner was again strip-searched and put back in his cell. Arraignment would take place after the weekend, on Monday.

Monday morning, Turner was taken by US Marshals to the US Courthouse again, this time to appear before Magistrate Martin C. Ashman. It turns out that Ashman is the same Judge who signed the arrest Warrant for Turner. Gee. That’s fair and impartial. . . . . . .

At that Arraignment, AUSA William Hogan, who had been in contact with Turner’s Attorney for a full month prior, finally revealed that he intended to ask the court that Turner continue to be held without bail. Even though Hogan had Turner’s FBI file and even though it proved that Turner had worked for the FBI for years and was thoroughly trained in the lawful use of violent rhetoric, Hogan intended to ask for Turner to be kept under lock and key. It was a disgusting betrayal.

When Turner’s attorney informed Turner of Hogan’s plans, Turner instructed his Attorney to reveal in open court that Turner worked for the FBI. He did. The media went wild!

It turns out that for the month prior, Chicago news media covered the Turner case almost every day. On TV and Radio, story after story reported that Turner threatened to murder three judges, was a vicious racist, a white supremacist, a Nazi, a Jew hater and worse. All the while, the US Attorney’s Office knew these things were false based on Turner’s FBI file, but they let the lies flow nonetheless. It was deliberate, planned deception. The US Attorney’s Office concealed the truth from the press and from the court. It was an overt effort to taint the jury pool out in Chicago. It failed.

When Attorney Michael Orozco revealed in open court that Hal Turner was an Intelligence Operative for the FBI, Magistrate Ashman was shocked. Clearly, the revelation took him totally by surprise. AUSA Hogan looked like a bashful schoolboy when confronted by Turner’s lawyer who said “Hal Turner was an intelligence informant for the FBI and I would ask that Assistant US Attorney Hogan admit or deny that right now?” Hogan stammered and stuttered, so Orozco asked again.

As quietly as he could, Hogan admitted “there was a relationship.” The media, which had been crowded in the rear of the courtroom, bolted from the room to be first to report this blockbuster revelation. Turner’s FBI relationship was reported as the lead story on every TV news show in Chicago that evening and on the front page of both the Chicago Tribune and The Chicago Sun-Times the following day.

Judge Ashman offered Turner time to Subpoena the FBI to appear at a Detention Hearing. He recessed the Hearing until August 10 to allow for the FBI to be subpoenaed so they could testify that Turner was not a danger. But Chicago has deep rooted corruption and ten days later when the Hearing was continued, it would reveal itself in all its brazen filth for everyone to see.

CONSTITUTION SHREDDED

On August 10, the Detention Hearing resumed and several frightening things took place.

Turner’s Attorney’s has successfully Subpoenaed several members of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force to appear at the Hearing. The Subpoenas were served by official Constables. All recipients were available to come to Chicago. . . . . . but not one showed up.

In court, AUSA William Hogan told Judge Ashman that he instructed the FBI not to honor the Subpoenas! Hogan cited an arcane Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure, (17(d), which requires the DEFENSE to prepay with each subpoena, the travel costs for witnesses to appear. The government doesn’t have to do that, only the Defense has to do it. Hogan argued that since none of the Agents got the prepayment, the Subpoenas were “not properly served.”

At first, Judge Ashman balked at the absurdity of the claim. Ashman pointed out that the government didn’t have to do that and Turner’s lawyer pointed out that the Turner family had plenty of funds to pay the few hundred dollars for at least one Agent to come from nearby Detroit – only 90 miles away.

With that, Hogan told the court that Turner’s relationship with the FBI was minimal, and then Hogan outright lied by telling the court “he was probably closed for being unproductive.”

According to a source no longer involved with Turner’s case, Hogan’s Office had nearly twelve hundred (1200) pages of FBI records from Hal Turner’s FBI file! Those records showed that Turner bagged multiple murderers, thwarted an attack against the President of the United States, uncovered a plot in Brazil to send supplies to the Iraqi resistance, and stopped the sale of Stealth military technology on the black market! Yet Hogan told the court Turner was “unproductive.” This was but one of many lies that Hogan would tell, but we’ll get to that another time.

At that point, something peculiar happened. Judge Ashman, who seemed to be favoring releasing Turner on Bail, adjourned the hearing to go to his Chambers. When Ashman returned to the bench about 30 minutes later, it was clear that someone called or talked to Judge Ashman outside the courtroom. At that point, the Constitution of the United States went in the garbage can.

Ashman said he would not enforce the Subpoenas; the FBI would not be forced to come to court to testify. Hal Turner’s Constitutional Right to compel Witnesses to testify, was crushed on the spot.

Ashman next decided that he would not hold AUSA Hogan in Contempt for telling the FBI to disregard the Subpoenas. If anyone else had intentionally ignored a Subpoena, they’d be arrested. Not this time. Hal Turner’s Constitutional Right to equal treatment under law, was crushed on the spot.

Judge Ashman next said that while Turner might want the FBI to testify on his behalf to show he was not dangerous, he didn’t need to hear any of that testimony. He was going to decide on Turner’s “Dangerousness” without any evidence being heard. Hal Turner’s Constitutional Right to Due Process was crushed on the spot.

Finally, Judge Ashman made the astounding remark that the charge against Turner was actually more serious than it appeared on paper because Judges do not get Secret Service Protection. As such, Ashman claimed, there was no set of conditions that could assure Turner’s appearance in court and that he would not pose a danger to the community, hence he would get no Bail. Hal Turner’s Constitutional Right to Bail was crushed on the spot.

Judge Martin C. Ashman violated almost every Constitutional Right that an accused person has!!! He is a corrupt Judge and a disgrace to the Bench. Judge Martin C. Ashman and AUSAWilliam R. Hogan epitomize the nationally-notorious Chicago corruption. They put it on display for the world to see.

THE EFFECT OF CONSTITUTIONAL SHREDDING

Hal Turner was whisked back to prison at MCC Chicago. He was put immediately back in The SHU. His schedule went like this:

6:00 AM Lights on in the cell.

6:30 AM Breakfast served through the cell door.

7:00 AM Trash and trays collected through the cell door.

From 7:00 to 8:00 to 9:00 to 10:00 to 11:00 . . . . . . . nothing. No TV, no video, no radio, no games, no telephone, no one to talk to, nothing to read.

11:30 AM, Lunch is served through the cell door.

12:00 Noon, trash and trays collected.

From 12:00 to 1:00 to 2:00 to 3:00 to 4:00. . . . . . . nothing. No TV, no video, no radio, no games, no telephone, no one to talk to, nothing to read.

4:30 PM Dinner is served through the cell door.

5:00 Trash and trays collected.

From 5:00 to 6:00 to 7:00 to 8:00 to 9:00 to 10:00. . . . . . nothing. No TV, no video, no radio, no games, no telephone, no one to talk to, nothing to read.

10:00 Lights out in the cell.

That was Hal Turner’s schedule every day, from July 28 until September 10. Hal Turner endured isolation in the Essex County Jail (2 weeks), then got to general population for a week at the FTC in Oklahoma City, then got put back in isolation for a week there; then in isolation from July 28 through August 10 at the Bail Hearing, then back into isolation from August 10 through September 10 when a new Judge got involved in the case.

In state prisons, a person is not allowed to be held in isolation for more than 15 days because it is so psychologically damaging. Hal Turner endured 77 days.

NEW JUDGE DESIGNATED FOR THE CASE

With Chicago corruption being so evident, the jury pool so tainted by the deliberate misinformation spewed by the US Attorney’s Office; with Hal Turner’s role with the FBI deliberately concealed and maligned by the US Attorney’s Office, it was clear that Turner could never get a fair trial in Chicago.

By order of the Executive Committee of the 7^th US Circuit, all District Court Judges in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin were Recused from Turner’s case. You see, they all have to answer to the 3 Judges that Turner allegedly threatened, so none of them could be trusted to be fair and impartial. Instead, Judge Donald E. Walter from the US District Court in Shreveport, LA was designated to handle the case.

Even though Judge Walter had been in Chicago at the time of Turner’s arrest, and even though he had to have seen the media onslaught saturating Chicago, he was told to take the case and he did.

Turner’s lawyers immediately filed a Motion with Judge Walter for Reconsideration of Turner’s Bail. Thankfully, in September, Judge Walter ordered Turner’s pretrial release upon the posting of Five Hundred Thousand dollars ($500,000) with further restrictions that Turner could not go on the internet or appear in any media, Turner could not communicate with the media directly or through any other person, Turner was confined to house arrest and had to wear an electronic ankle bracelet.

Turner’s lawyers also Motioned for a Change of Venue, arguing that Turner could never get a fair trial in Chicago. Judge Walter agreed and moved the trial from Chicago to Brooklyn, NY. But the shenanigans by the feds weren’t over.

On September 11, 2009, Turner was flown on a Con-Air flight back to the FTC in Oklahoma. With his status as an Intelligence Operative for the FBI now out in the open, where did the feds put Turner? Back in The SHU. . . . . . only this time with a celly named Willy Wilson. . . . . . . from the Aryan Brotherhood; the most-murderous prison gang in the country.

Mr. Wilson is serving 34 years as a career criminal for Drug and weapons possession. His affiliation with the Aryan Brotherhood is indicated by his Tatoos.

So Hal Turner, who dared to write his opinion, found himself sitting in a federal prison cell with a member of Aryan Brotherhood. Knowing that his status with the FBI had been made public, the feds put him in what was probably the single most life-threatening environment possible. Hal Turner endured.

Turner arrived in New Jersey a few days later on September 15. He was put in the Hudson County Jail in Kearny, NJ, near his home. It took his family awhile to raise the $500,000 bail, but they did. Hal Turner was released on October 21.

SPEEDY TRIAL? FAT CHANCE!

When Turner was arraigned in August, his Attorneys demanded a Speedy Trial. Federal Statute specifies a “speedy trial” must take place within 70 days of Arraignment. Turner’s trial date was set for October 25.

The government assigned three (3) Assistant US Attorneys to Turner’s case. One of them, William Ridgway, had a potential 3 day conflict with another trial. So the government moved for a continuance.

Even though Turner was entitled to a speedy trial, that Constitutional Right went out the window. For their potential 3 day conflict in scheduling, the government was granted a new trial date of December 1, 2009.

Turner went on trial December 1. The Jury was seated and “Jeopardy” attached to Mr. Turner. During that trial, the third highest-ranking official from the FBI in New York City, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Amy Pickett, testified on Turner’s behalf.

Pickett stunned the courtroom when she said that Hal Turner “. . . . . was national security.” She went on to say that Intelligence people like Turner dealt with “national security, terrorism and foreign counter-intelligence.” She lauded Turner as being “very good.” She went on to say that “his information was very good; if he said something was going to happen, it did.” Other Agents testified that Turner was paid tend-of-thousands of dollars by the FBI to infiltrate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, Aryan Nations, the National Alliance and Nazis.

Having heard all the evidence, the Jury reported they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict. They were deadlocked with a vote of nine (9) Not guilty, to three (3) Guilty. A mistrial was declared. That should have been the end of it. Sadly, not.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY? WHO CARES?

Turner was told he must stand trial again! A new trial date was set. 70 day speedy trial? NO! The new trial would take place March 1, 2010.

Turner went on trial again. The jury was seated and “Jeopardy” attached for the second time.

Even though the US Constitution says that “No person shall be twice put in jeopardy. . . . .” Hal Turner was on trial a second time.

This time, however, the case was rigged. It looked like the nationally-notorious Chicago corruption teamed-up with Louisiana’s “Huey Long” brand of “justice.” Huey Long was a notorious Louisiana politician. Judge Donald Walter is a 78 year old Judge from Louisiana.

Normally, both the Prosecution and the Defense get to make opening statements at the start of trial. Not this time! Judge Walter ORDERED the Defense to delay its opening statement until after the Government was finished with its case! Judge Walter also ordered that the Defense could NOT ask any of the government’s witnesses anything about Hal Turner’s role with the FBI until the Defense began its case – meaning the Defense would have to Subpoena and pay for the travel expenses for those same witnesses. Then, Judge Walter further ORDERED the Defense could not even speak of Turner’s role with the FBI unless Hal Turner took the Witness Stand himself and testified he was with the FBI!

If these things weren’t rigging the case enough, the Judge ruled that the three Judges named by Turner in his Editorial Opinion, would be allowed to come to court to testify against Turner!

Even though Hal Turner never talked to any of those Judges, never e-mailed them, never sent any faxes to them, never mailed any letters to them, never telephoned them and never showed up in Chicago to see any of them, they would get to take the Witness stand anyway.

This was a remarkable thing because during Trial #1, none of the Judges were called to testify and the government argued that they didn’t need to come because Turner never communicated with them. Now, for trial #2, the same government was arguing that these Judges, with whom Turner never communicated, could come to court anyway! It was a stunning ruling that allowed totally irrelevant “witnesses” to testify about something they were never contacted about!

Despite the case being terribly rigged against Turner, the second Jury deadlocked. It was a major victory of sorts for Hal Turner. For the first time in US History, three federal judges took the Witness Stand to testify against a Defendant and the Jury didn’t believe them! What a slap in the face to those high and mighty judges!

Without a unanimous verdict, another mistrial was declared. That too, should have been the end of it. Nope!

Turner was told he would be put on trial a THIRD TIME! Speedy trial in 70 days? Nope! The new trial date is “tentatively” set for August 9, 2010.

US CONSTITUTION; A SAD JOKE

You think you have Constitutional Rights? Think again. You don’t. The case of Hal Turner is proof.

While the US Constitution supposedly protects certain “unalienable” rights, the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure takes them all away.

Even US Supreme Court case law, established in the case of “Brandenburg v. Ohio” which protects advocating violence, is being flatly ignored in the Turner case. Judge Walter made reversible error when he ruled that Turner’s words were “not protected” by the First Amendment because “they could facilitate violence.” Turner is not charged with facilitation; no crime against any judge actually took place and “facilitation” is not a “threat.” So Judge Walter is blatantly wrong on the law!

It appears that freedom of speech depends upon whose Ox is being gored. The rules, the law and even Supreme Court case law have gone out the window in the case of Hal Turner. The government is bent on jailing him for his opinion and the courts seem to be aiding an abetting this travesty by rigging his trials. This should frighten and outrage the American people.

Freedom of Speech is being assaulted by an out-of-control government that seems to think it can do whatever it wants. It cannot.

MEDIA ATTENTION

When the Hal Turner case began, “The Los Angeles Times” ran a lead editorial supporting Hal Turner. That editorial appears HERE. Later, “The Washington Post” ran a story supporting Turner. That story appears HERE.

During the course of both federal trials, Producers from CBS News “60 Minutes” attended every day of both trials. Hal Turner is CONFIRMED to appear on “60 Minutes” when his trial is finished.

The government seems very sensitive to media coverage; so sensitive in fact, that after Trial #2, Judge Walter, peaking from the Bench in open court, told Hal Turner to “make no effort to further involve the media in this case.” The Judge even went so far as to threaten to move the case to Juneau, Alaska! (They have TV, radio and newspapers there too.)

Why is the government so sensitive? They know they’re wrongly criminalizing an Opinion in absolute violation of the First Amendment. It seems they want to do it as fast and as quietly as possible. Sorry boys, not gonna happen.

PROSECUTOR HAS A CORRUPT PAST

After trial #2 in March, the Family of Hal Turner found out that AUSA William Hogan has quite a history of allegedly lying to juries, suppressing evidence and even bribing witnesses. He was FIRED from his job for these things in 1993! We reported that story HERE.

A few years later, Hogan allegedly BLACKMAILED the Justice Department into giving him his job back, after Hogan allegedly leaked information about 6 federal Judges in Chicago were taking bribes. Shortly after revealing this, Hogan miraculously got his job back and no one ever heard about those Judges taking bribes again. We reported that story HERE.

We also found out that Hogan and his boss, Patrick Fitzgerald, are under Congressional Investigation for allegedly forcing witnesses to lie under oath! We reported that story HERE.

Here we are, one year later, and Hal Turner endures. Despite being forced into Bankruptcy by legal costs and being held under house arrest, he is fighting the good fight, within the rules, even though the rules seem to be going out the window.

Turner’s conduct throughout this disgusting affair is a testament to his integrity and patience. Want proof? Put yourself in the same situation and ask how long YOU would tolerate petty and petulant government officials doing this to you?

Thankfully, no matter what the government does, Hal Turner has the truth on his side: He threatened no one. Saying someone “deserves to be killed” cannot ever be a “threat” and nothing the government says or does will ever change Hal’s opinion into a threat.

Trial #3 is scheduled for August 9, 2010 at the US Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY, 6^th floor. The trial is open to the public.

LEAKED BANK "STRESS TESTS" 60 Days after this story was published, the govt arrested the Publisher

The story was picked up by the Financial Times of London, then by CNBC and the New York Times.

When the stock market opened at 9:30 AM the next day, Bank Stock values plunged over $500 Million in less than 6 minutes. The plunge was so fast and so furious that 40 minutes later, the United States Treasury issued a statement saying "The report about Bank Stress Test results issued by Hal Turner of North Bergen, NJ are inaccurate. Turner cannot have the test results yet because we don't even have them yet."

That statement only added fuel to the fire because ten days earlier, Bloomberg Business News reported that the Federal Reserve instructed CitiBank and Goldman Sachs to withhold stress test results. When stock markets around the world realized the US Treasury had just lied, the Bank Stock value plunge got worse. By close of Business on April 20, 2009, Bank stock values around the world had plunged $2.1 BILLION dollars. This begot Hal Turner very powerful enemies.

About 60 days later, radio host and blogger Hal Turner was jailed by the US Government on bogus charges. He spent four months in jail, held without bail, until his lawyers won his release.

urner went on trial twice since then. Both times, the Jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. Both times, a mistrial was declared. Atonishingly, the government plans to put Turner on trial a THIRD time beginning this August 9.

At his trial, it was revealed that Hal Turner was an Intelligence Operative with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task FOrce. This fact was confirmed by the third highest ranking official in the FBI's New York City Office, Assistant Special Agent In Charge (ASAC) Amy Pickett. Testifying at trial, Pickett confirmed that Hal Turner handled "national security intelligence, terrorism and foreign counter intelligence" for the FBI. Hal later revealed his work with the FBI to his family, who had no idea of his secret life with the Bureau.

It turns out that Hal Turner obtained the leaked bank stress test as a direct result of his work as an Intelligence Operative with the FBI. He published the results on his blog so as to protect the American people from the fraud being perpetrated by the Bankers and their ilk.

We believe the bogus charges against Hal Turner are a result of him exposing the truth about the Banks which cost a whole slew of rich people, an awful lot of money. The Turner Radio Network has obtained "stress test" results for the top 19 Banks in the USA. (Corrections/clarifications below in orange)

The stress tests were conducted to determine how well, if at all, the top 19 banks in the USA could withstand further or future economic hardship.

When the tests were completed, regulators within the Treasury and inside the Federal Reserve began bickering with each other as to whether or not the test results should be made public. That bickering continues to this very day as evidenced by this "main stream media" report.

The Turner Radio Network has obtained the stress test results. They are very bad. The most salient points from the stress tests appear below.

1) Of the top nineteen (19) banks in the nation, sixteen (16) are already technically insolvent. (Based upon the “alternative more adverse” scenario which had a 3.3 percent contraction of the U.S. Economy in 2009, accompanied by 8.9 percent unemployment, followed by 0.5 percent growth of the U.S. Economy but a 10.3 percent jobless in 2010.)

2) Of the 16 banks that are already technically insolvent, not even one can withstand any disruption of cash flow at all or any further deterioration in non-paying loans. (Without further government injections of cash)

3) If any two of the 16 insolvent banks go under, they will totally wipe out all remaining FDIC insurance funding.

4) Of the top 19 banks in the nation, the top five (5) largest banks are under capitalized so dangerously, there is serious doubt about their ability to continue as ongoing businesses.

5) Five large U.S. banks have credit exposure related to their derivatives trading that exceeds their capital, with four in particular - JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, HSBC Bank America and Citibank - taking especially large risks.

6) Bank of America`s total credit exposure to derivatives was 179 percent of its risk-based capital; Citibank`s was 278 percent; JPMorgan Chase`s, 382 percent; and HSBC America`s, 550 percent. It gets even worse: Goldman Sachs began reporting as a commercial bank, revealing an alarming total credit exposure of 1,056 percent, or more than ten times its capital! (HSBC is NOT in the top 19 banks undergoing a stress test, but is mentioned in the report as an aside because of its risk capital exposure to derivatives)

7) Not only are there serious questions about whether or not JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs,Citibank, Wells Fargo, Sun Trust Bank, HSBC Bank USA, can continue in business, more than 1,800 regional and smaller institutions are at risk of failure despite government bailouts!

The debt crisis is much greater than the government has reported. The FDIC`s "Problem List" of troubled banks includes 252 institutions with assets of $159 billion. 1,816 banks and thrifts are at risk of failure, with total assets of $4.67 trillion, compared to 1,568 institutions, with $2.32 trillion in total assets in prior quarter.

Put bluntly, the entire US Banking System is in complete and total collapse.

For those who may be skeptical about the veracity of the stress test report above, be reminded that only last Sunday, April 12, this radio network obtained and published a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Memo outlining their concerns that returning US military vets posed a domestic security threat as "right wing extremists." That memo, available here, is marked "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY" and contained strict warnings that it was not to be released to the public or to the media. We obtained it and published it days before other media outlets.

Further, todays Wall Street Journal (April 20, 2009) is confirming at this link that lending by the largest banks has DECREASED 23% since the government began the T.A.R.P. program, causing many in Congress to ask where the money has actually been going. Apparently, it has been going into propping-up the failing banks instead of out in loans to the public.

How do we know its a lie?

Because of this from April 10th:

April 10 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Federal Reserve has told Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Citigroup Inc. and other banks to keep mum on the results of “stress tests” that will gauge their ability to weather the recession, people familiar with the matter said.

The Fed wants to ensure that the report cards don’t leak during earnings conference calls scheduled for this month. Such a scenario might push stock prices lower for banks perceived as weak and interfere with the government’s plan to release the results in an orderly fashion later this month.

How can you be ordered not to release something you don't have?

Since that was published on the 10th of April, we therefore know that the results exist and Treasury, the banks involved and The Fed have them, as The Fed was concerned that some banks might try to use them (perhaps in a misleading fashion) during their first quarter conference calls and earnings releases.

Sorry guys, but whether the Turner Radio Network has the real results or not is no longer material. What's material is the claim that Treasury doesn't have them, since they told the banks on the 10th not to release them, and you can't release what you don't have.

The problem with lying is that eventually you forget your previous lies and thus get caught when you contradict yourself.

(http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com) One year ago on June 3, 2009, radio host and blogger Hal Turner published a news story with editorial commentary on his web site. The story resulted in him being arrested by the Connecticut State Capitol Police.

It began on June 2 when Turner read a story about two Connecticut State Legislators who had introduced a Bill to prohibit Catholic Priests from being involved with church finances. The Bill would have required that only lay people in the Church handle church money.

The Bill had been introduced by two homosexual lawmakers who were angry with the Church’s opposition to their efforts at enacting “gay marriage.” Rather than simply accept the fact that “marriage” is a sacrament that can only be bestowed by a church, and rather than accept the fact that the general public does not regard sodomites as being able to be “married,” these two militant gays attempted to force their perversion on the entire state with a gay marriage Bill.

When it turned out that the Catholic Church was the single most effective point of opposition to the effort at sodomite marriage, the homosexual legislators retaliated against the church. They introduced their Bill which would have directly interfered with the free exercise of religion. The Bill was a blatant and direct violation of the separation of Church and state established via the First Amendment.

Upon seeing such a blatant assault upon the church and upon US Constitution, Hal Turner penned commentary on his web site. The commentary said the people of Connecticut should “take up arms” against the government. It went on to identify the sodomite legislators by name and announced that Turner would reveal their home addresses on his radio show the following day.

Around 3:30 in the afternoon, Turner got a call at his New Jersey home from the Connecticut State Capitol Police asking if he intended to come to Connecticut. Turner said “no.”

About two hours later, Turner got another call, this time from Lt. Frank Canelli of the North Bergen, NJ police in Turner’s home town. Lt. Canelli told Turner that the North Bergen Police had received a credible threat against Turner and asked if he would come to Police Headquarters to discuss it. Turner agreed. This was not the first time such a situation had arisen and Turner, being a controversial public figure who was routinely threatened, worked closely with police.

When Turner arrived at North Bergen Police Headquarters, he was arrested on a ‘FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE WARRANT” issued by Connecticut. The charge: “Harassing communications.”

Even though Turner had not spoken to anyone in Connecticut, had never been arrested in that state and had never fled from justice, he was jailed on the spot – without bail!

North Bergen Police said that there would be no bail because Connecticut had issued a “FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE” warrant, meaning Turner had skipped-out on bail. This was a lie, but off to jail Hal went.

Turner contacted his lawyer who filed a Motion for a Hearing about the incarceration. The Motion told the court that Turner was not – and had never been – a fugitive, and as such, Turner was entitled to Bail.

The legal system works slowly. Five days later, a hearing was held before Judge Callahan in the Superior Court of New Jersey in Jersey City. At that Hearing, the Connecticut State Capitol Police produced reports to Judge Callahan who read them and said “there’s something wrong here; this man is not a fugitive and is entitled to bail.” In fact, the paperwork from Connecticut listed a Bail of $25,000 which Turner could have posted on the spot at North Bergen Police Headquarters.

The paperwork brought to New Jersey by the Connecticut State Capitol Police said nothing about “harassing communications” but instead now charged “Inciting harm to persons or property.”

Judge Callahan ORDERED Turner released on $25,000 Bail with instructions that Turner appear in Connecticut within 3 days. Turner was released from Jail about 12 hours later.

It turns out that Connecticut never issued any Fugitive from Justice Warrant. Apparently, North Bergen Police Lieutenant Frank Canelli lied, twice. First, he lied about there being a threat to Turner so as to lure him to the police station. If that wasn’t scummy enough, Canelli then instructed a Detective that the Connecticut Warrant was to be handled as a “Fugitive from Justice” situation. It was this instruction by Canelli that resulted in Turner being held in jail for five days.

How a lying, cheating, scumbag like Frank Canelli gets to be a police Lieutenant is a wonder, but that he would deliberately misuse his authority to jail Turner without bail - when the paperwork from Connecticut showed Bail of $25,000 - was a crime!
Lt. Frank Canelli deprived Hal Turner of his Civil Rights under color of law. This was a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sub-Section 242, which is a federal felony. The North Bergen Detective who actually effected the arrest, executed a False Instrument, – a New Jersey fugitive warrant. Executing a false instrument is also a crime.

Neither officer has been held to account for their actions but that day is coming. A Tort Notice was filed with the Township of North Bergen claiming Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000.) in damages and Civil Rights violations. No suit has yet been filed, but if one is filed, it is expected to name the Township, both Officers in their official capacity as well as both officers personally for Civil Rights violations.

The case in Connecticut is still pending, but is expected to be dismissed on First Amendment grounds. According to the US Supreme Court in the landmark free speech case “Brandenburg v. Ohio” , advocating violence is legal as long as it takes place in a context that does not lend itself to “imminent lawlessness.”

Turner saying people in Connecticut should “take up arms” was legally meaningless because he didn’t say it in front of an angry mob standing near the homosexual legislators. Absent an angry mob, ready to attack, Turner’s words were protected free speech.

FIRED US ATTORNEY REHIRED AFTER REVEALING JUDGES TAKING BRIBES!

As previously reported Turner was arrested in June, 2009 after publishing an Editorial on his web site which was critical of three federal judges in Chicago. Turner was arrested by the FBI on June 24, twenty days after posting on his blog that three federal judges on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals were "traitors" to the United States. Turner went on to write they "deserve to be killed" for violating the US Constitution and for intentionally ignoring a recent ruling by the US Supreme Court.

The government charged Turner with "threatening to assault and murder" the three judges! The government contends that saying the Judges "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually kill them. Turner's lawyers argued that saying someone "deserves" anything is merely an opinion. Opinions, be they oral or written, are protected free speech.

The main stream media quickly latched onto the case. Headlines across the country screamed “Blogger Busted for Threatening Judges” and “Radio Host jailed over Editorial.” The tenor of the media coverage changed dramatically when “The Los Angeles Times” ran a lead Editorial supporting Turner! SURPRISE! TURNER WORKED FOR THE FBI

At a Bail Hearing in Chicago, Turner’s attorney made a staggering revelation: Hal Turner was paid by the FBI for what he did on radio and on the internet. At that Hearing, Assistant US Attorney (AUSA) William R. Hogan admitted in open court that Turner did work for the FBI. Upon this admission, the media exploded with coverage of the case .

It quickly became clear that the FBI paid Turner “tens-of-thousands” of dollars to go on radio with racist, anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant and homophobic opinions. The goal was to “flush out radicals” before they committed acts of violence.

The idea that the FBI paid a talk-radio host to do these things outraged the main stream press which immediately began to probe the relationship between Turner and FBI.

Turner was held in federal prison for 119 days without Bail before being released in October on $500,000 cash.

In November, 2009, the largest evening newspaper in Turner’s home state of New Jersey, published a major investigative report. Citing more than 20 hours of jailhouse interviews with Turner “The Record” newspaper claimed it was able to review actual FBI documents and confirmed Turner’s side of the story! The investigative report proved that the FBI operation with Turner was highly successful. The newspaper cited Turner’s statistical accomplishments including “over 100 federal subjects identified, more than ten acts of violence averted and numerous subjects arrested.”

PROSECUTOR GOES DIRTY

Turner went on trial in December 2009. With all the media attention about Turner’s role with the FBI undermining the case, AUSA Hogan knew he had to do something dramatic to turn things in his favor. So . . . . . he lied. During his opening statement, Hogan described the trial as “a case of Domestic Terrorism perpetrated by that man, Hal Turner, a Domestic Terrorist.” The trial turned ugly from that moment on.

Shocked by such a gross misrepresentation and furious that he was being betrayed by the very government who paid him, Turner launched a blistering defense. It began with the sworn testimony of the third highest ranking official in the New York City Division of the FBI, Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Amy Pickett.

Pickett testified that Turner worked with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and that he handled “national security, terrorism and foreign counter intelligence.” Pickett went on to testify that what Turner did “was really so important that it had to go up to the Department of Justice.”

Hogan admits Turner was FBI Agent

By the end of Trial #1, Defense attorneys had shredded the government’s case so badly that Turner himself did not testify. It worked, sort of. The jury voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal. Without a unanimous verdict, a mistrial was declared.

With the government now on the Defensive, AUSA Hogan got desperate. In Trial #1, Hogan did not call the three judges mentioned in Turner’s editorial and argued to the court that he didn’t have to. Hogan argued that even though Turner never contacted any of the judges in any manner whatsoever, merely saying they “deserve to be killed” was “communicating a threat” and the jury did not have to consider that Turner never contacted the Judges. With Hogan now desperate, he changed his tune for Trial #2.

SLUGFEST

Turner was put on trial a second time in March, 2010. This time, Hogan called the three judges to testify. It was the first time in US History that three sitting judges took the witness stand against a defendant. It backfired. The judges came off as arrogant and belligerent.

Since the Judges took the witness stand, Defense attorneys decided to put Turner on the stand too. In a brutal two-day cross examination by AUSA William Hogan, Turner absolutely shined. Time after time, as Hogan tried to paint Turner as a liar and a man who was simply wrong about the law regarding freedom of speech, Turner let loose with responses that utterly destroyed Hogan’s line of questioning.

At times, the interactions between Hogan and Turner became so intense that the Judge had to warn both men “this is not a high school debate. Everyone will keep their voices down.” Despite that admonishment, both men engaged each other with a tenacity seldom seen in any American courtroom.

At times, Hogan became so flustered by the verbal beating being dished out by Turner, that Hogan fumbled for papers at the Prosecution lectern and was even seen talking to himself! If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, Hogan repeatedly found himself being told to “shut up” or “sit down” by Judge Walter.

In one particularly amazing moment, Judge Walter told the Assistant United States Attorney “Mr. Hogan, sit down and don’t get up unless I tell you to.” The courtroom broke out in laughter as Hogan sat, slack-jawed, at the embarrassing rebuke.
In blistering responses to Hogan’s various accusations, Turner fired back with irrefutable facts, backed up by FBI documents. Turner’s memory of events from years earlier foiled absolutely every attempt by the government to twist or manipulate the facts of the case.

After two days of hammering Turner over the content of his web site, it was clear to most observers in the courtroom that the case had become little more than a Bolshevik “show trial.” One courtroom observer remarked “This looks like the kind of trial we used to hear about in the former Soviet Union where the ruling regime put dissenters on trial.” Another attendee stated bluntly “This case is cloaked in legitimacy, but what the government is doing stinks like a whorehouse at low tide.”

The government was clearly trying to prosecute Turner for the ideology espoused on his web site and its raucous racial content. In fact, every piece of the government’s “evidence” had absolutely nothing to do with the charge against Turner. None of the web postings or e-mails brought-up on cross examination, had anything to do with the three judges Turner was accused of threatening. Clearly, the jury saw through the scam and instead focused on the blog posting that initiated the charges against Turner.

After several days of deliberations, the Jury in Trial #2 reported that they were deadlocked. Another mistrial was declared.

Most legal observers questioned about the case thought the government would relent. After all, Turner had gone head-to-head with three of the top judges in the entire country and still, the government did not prevail. Surprisingly, the government announced they would put Turner on trial a THIRD time. The government was giving Turner the same meat-grinder tactics reserved for a Mafia Boss. This aggravated the Turner family and the intelligence community that Turner worked with. So, they started digging into AUSA Hogan’s background.

SKELETONS IN PROSECUTOR’S CLOSET

Before long, information came out that AUSA Hogan had quite a jaded past. He has been fired from his job with the US Attorney’s Office in 1993 and brought up on Ethics Charges by the State of Illinois. Hogan was accused of lying to juries, suppressing evidence and bribing witnesses. Somehow, Hogan managed to get rehired in 1998. The Family of Hal Turner wondered what kind of sleazy, back-room deals helped achieve that? Now, we may have the answer:

While he was fighting to get his job back, Mr. Hogan was quoted in official trial transcripts from federal Case No. 96 C 4373 being tried before federal District Court Judge George M. Marovich. According to “The Skolnick Report”, Hogan allegedly said
“ . . . . the Justice Department knows full well, but takes no action, that six federal judges in Chicago are corrupt and take bribes, including Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge John D. Schwartz."

It appears now that shortly after Hogan started leaking information about federal Judges taking Bribes, he magically got his job back! Gee, what a coincidence.

Even more amazing is how once Hogan got his job back, no one ever heard another word about those 6 Judges in Chicago who allegedly take bribes. Nope; not one peep.

This leads us to wonder if the 3 Judges that Hal Turner is accused of threatening are among the six federal Judges in Chicago that Mr. Hogan said were taking bribes?

In December, 2009, it was also revealed that Mr. Hogan is under Congressional Investigation for forcing witnesses to lie under Oath. The Family of Hal Turner reported that fact a few months ago and provided links to public media sources to verify that too.

If the government brings the three Judges back to testify, the whole corruption thing is likely to be part of cross-examination. After all, their character is a legitimate issue for the jury to consider.

AUSA Hogan being fired then revealing the Judicial Bribery to get his job back might make interesting fodder for the Jury.

Congress Investigating Prosecutor in Turner Case

US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and several of his assistants are under Congressional Investigation for allegedly manufacturing evidence and forcing witnesses to lie. One of the Assistants named in the Congressional investigation is Assistant US Attorney William Hogan who is prosecuting Hal Turner over an Editorial written last year.

One corrupt aspect of the Turner case that may interest Congress has to do with concealing of evidence by the government. A “blanket letter of declination” was issued by the New Jersey United States Attorney’s office which said the government would not prosecute Hal Turner for anything on his radio show or web site. Instead of honoring that letter, the US Attorney from Chicago circumvented the New Jersey US Attorney’s Office and brought a prosecution against Turner in Chicago. Even worse, when Turner’s defense lawyers found out that the Blanket Letter of Declination existed, they subpoenaed it, but the US Attorney from Chicago asked the court to CONCEAL that letter from the Jury!

Sadly, the court agreed to CONCEAL THE EVIDENCE, saying the letter was “attorney work product” and could not be used by Turner’s defense lawyers. This is yet another example of the deceitful tactics being employed by the US Attorney in Chicago in his politically-correct witch hunt against radio host and blogger Hal Turner.

congressional investigation of United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois Patrick Fitzgerald's office, a U.S. House Judiciary Subcommittee will call witnesses today to determine if the prosecutor's office manufactured evidence and forced witnesses to lie to obtain a 2003 conviction of a then prominent Chicago real estate developer and attorney.

After his trial and conviction, Peter Palivos, 51, presented the committee with evidence showing that prosecutors forced witnesses to lie against him or face charges themselves.

"They wanted to frame me to get me to become a witness against George Ryan, but I have nothing incriminating to say against the man," Palivos said in Oct. 2005 (http://cbs2chicago.com/topstories/Peter.Palivos.2.321955.html).

After hearing the evidence, which includes sworn affidavits from witnesses who say there were forced to lie about Mr. Palivos, three separate House Judiciary Subcommittees asked the U.S. Justice Department to investigate "possible prosecutorial misconduct" by Fitzgerald's office.

Though the investigation has apparently been ongoing for nearly four years, this is the first time it has become public.

The committee's investigation is seeking to discover the scope of wrongdoing involved after failing to get satisfactory replies from the U.S. Dept. of Justice, which committee members believe should have followed up on its discoveries.

WHO IS U.S. ATTORNEY PATRICK FITZGERALD?

Besides being the current United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, Fitzgerald is also a member of the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Special Counsel.

He was the federal prosecutor in charge of the investigation of the Valerie Plame affair, which led to the prosecution and conviction of Scooter Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff.

He has also been involved in high-profile cases, including former Ill. Gov. George Ryan and several aides to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. His office is currently investigating an alleged plot to sell Barack Obama's vacated U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder, which led to the arrest of Ill. Gov. Rod Blagojevich on December 9, 2008--one year ago yesterday--and to his impeachment a few months later.

Gov. Blagojevich has steadfastly proclaimed his innocence.

Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a former campaign contributor to President Obama, convicted in 2008 of fraud and bribery, wrote a letter to his sentencing judge saying Fitzgerald and his prosecutors were pressuring him to lie against then Sen. Barack Obama and Gov. Blagojevich when neither was involved in wrongdoing. (Rezko letter)

Blagojevich's former fundraiser, Chris Kelly, committed suicide after admitting to bribery in an unrelated case to obtain government contracts. Before his death, Kelly suggested he was being squeezed by Fitzgerald's office, suggesting that prosecutors were pressuring him to cooperate with their investigation of Blagojevich, which he refused to do.

SCOPE OF U.S. HOUSE JUDICIARY INVESTIGATION

The U.S. House Judiciary Committee, which has the oversight and authority to investigate the judiciary branch of the U.S. government, began examining the Palivos case nearly four years ago.

Palivos alleges that he was convicted on a concocted obstruction of justice charge after he refused to lie for prosecutors in their investigation of former Ill. Gov. George Ryan, who is serving time in federal prison on corruption charges.

Palivos says he was told by federal agent Thomas Heinzer that he would be 'framed with that crime' unless he cooperated in the office's investigation. When he did not, he was subsequently indicted and convicted.

"For my honesty I earned the wrath of U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald’s office. That office proceeded to create an obstruction of justice crime against me by bullying witnesses and defense attorneys and they even manufactured evidence. These prosecutorial misconduct methods succeeded in wrongfully indicting, convicting and imprisoning me."

Following Palivos' trial, witnesses gave the House Judiciary Committee sworn affidavits “stating that they were forced to lie and the prosecutors on the case engaged in misconduct” in his case, prompting the committee to expand its investigation.

The documents the committee received also contained evidence, which appeared to show federal prosecutors prepared a false affidavit, falsified interview statements, threatened a defense attorney with a trumped-up obstruction of justice charge if he filed a motion, suborned perjury and withheld exculpatory evidence that would have prevented the imprisonment of an innocent man--Mr. Palivos.

On March 30, 2009 the Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Courts and Competition Policy, U.S. Congressman Hank Johnson in a letter regarding Mr. Palivos' case, wrote, "It appears his case is a good example of prosecutorial misconduct." (Misconduct suspected)

On May 7, 2009 the House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers and Subcommittee Chairman Johnson wrote a joint letter to Attorney General Holder requesting a “fresh examination” of Mr. Palivos’ case and for the DOJ to produce six federal prosecutors and agents for interviews: Asst. U.S. Attorney Patrick Collins, Small Business Administration Agent Thomas Heinzer, AUSA William Hogan, AUSA Marsha McClellan, AUSA Pierre Talbert and former AUSA Eric Wilson.

New Lawyer Wins Bail Concessions for Turner

Brooklyn, NY – (http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com) Changing lawyers has started out well for radio host and blogger Hal Turner. On Thursday, Turner’s new attorney won a significant easing of Bail restrictions that had been placed on Turner since his release from federal prison last October.

Upon posting $500,000 bail, Turner was confined to house arrest, forbidden from going back on the radio or the internet, unable to earn a living, prohibited from talking to the media and from speaking to anyone but his immediate family about his case. Turner suffered these draconian restrictions for five months despite the best efforts of his two attorneys.

When Turner’s second trial ended in a hung jury in early March, Turner announced he was releasing his attorneys so that “a new set of eyes” could take a look at his case, hopefully with better results.

At a Bail Hearing on Thursday, April 8, Turner’s new attorney, Peter Kirchheimer, convinced Judge Donald Walter that Turner should be able to leave his home and work. Judge Walter agreed – kind of.

After hearing government objections which included the government fear that Turner would “be able to express his views directly to people” Judge Walter modified Turner’s terms of release to permit him to leave his home for twelve (12) hours a day, 7 days a week to work. A nighttime curfew still applies.

The judge placed no geographic limitations on Turner, saying “I don’t care where he goes as long as he is back in his home by (a specified time.)”

Assistant US Attorney Diane MacArthur repeatedly argued that Turner was dangerous simply because the government said so, and told the judge “easing the restrictions this way is like having no restrictions at all.” MacArthur went on to tell the judge that the government “. . . . . doesn’t trust Mr. Turner. . . . .” and expressed concerns that Turner could “communicate his views about judges and other views, directly to people” without government control.

Political Prosecution

The argument was quite remarkable because it made clear the case against Turner is political in nature; the Obama administration sees Hal Turner as a threat to their socialistic goals. Turner proved to be the single most effective voice opposing the changes being forced upon America by the government.

At the height of his political effectiveness, Turner single-handedly stopped the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 by publishing the names, home addresses and unlisted home telephone numbers of 63 US Senators who defied the American people by supporting Amnesty for illegal aliens. Turner released the list on his web site during his radio show just twelve hours before the final Senate vote.

Without staff at their homes to intercept (and ignore) constituent calls, Senators were swamped with calls and personal visits to their houses by voters. Twelve hours later, 18 of those Senators - who had supported the Bill just 3 days earlier - changed their votes, sending immigration reform down to crushing defeat.

THE FBI HELPED

What no one knew at the time was that for years prior, Hal Turner had been an Intelligence Operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Although the official relationship with the FBI ended, the Bureau stayed n touch with Turner and it was the FBI that supplied the home addresses and unlisted home and cellular telephone numbers of those US Senators, to Turner!

The FBI knew from past experience that Turner was willing to publish home address info of government officials. More importantly, a sizeable portion of the FBI did not take kindly to Congress granting another Amnesty to millions of people who broke our laws to come to the United States. Moreover, many in the FBI were outraged that the Senate was ignoring the Will of the American People.

The morning before the final Senate vote, the FBI dropped off a computer USB memory stick to Turner’s home in North Bergen. The memory stick contained the names, home addresses in the home state and secondary addresses for Senators who also had homes around Washington, DC. It also contained the home telephone numbers, secondary home telephone numbers and private cellular telephone numbers of those Senators. Once Turner got the Memory Stick, he knew exactly what to do with it.

That night, during his radio show, Turner talked about the Immigration Reform Bill, outlined how the Senate was ignoring the Will of The People; ignoring literally millions of phone calls, faxes letters and e-mails. Turner then dropped an information-bomb-shell by publishing the private address info on his web site.

In twelve hours, the site got more than 1.4 MILLION unique visits, including over 1,400 visits from computers from “Senate.gov” the official US Senate servers at the US Capitol! It worked. A Tsunami of Constituents called and paid personal visits to the Senators throughout the night. The next morning, 18 of those 64 US Senators had been thoroughly reminded who they work for.

Despite fierce support by the leaders of both political parties in both houses of Congress, and despite support by then-president Bush, the Immigration Reform Bill went down to defeat. Hal Turner made very powerful enemies when he did this.

So devastatingly effective was Turner’s work that no less than the President of the National Council of La Raza, appeared on CNN’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” and blamed Turner BY NAME, for “creating a wave of hate” which defeated the Immigration Reform Bill. Lately, there’s been talk from the Obama regime about resurrecting Immigration Reform. With Hal Turner sidelined by court restrictions, they might think they can get Amnesty through this time. They should think again. We, the Family of Hal Turner, have the list of home addresses and we will publish that list again if the Congress dares to attempt to pass Amnesty for illegal Aliens again.

In the mean time, we’re pleased to announce that Hal’s new attorney is making progress and thankfully, Hal will be able to leave home and work. We’re not certain if he’ll go back to driving a truck, but whatever he does; at least he has won some freedom back.

BACKGROUND ON THE SITUATION

For those unfamiliar, last June, Hal Turner published an editorial which was critical of three federal Judges in Chicago. The Editorial accused the Judges of violating the Constitution of the United States by upholding a ban on handguns and also accused the judges of ignoring a recent US Supreme Court ruling which overturned Handgun bans.

The editorial went on to call the Judges “traitors” to the United States. Tyrants. It quoted Thomas Jefferson who said “The tree of Liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots.” It then said “Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed.”

The US Attorney in Chicago claims that saying the judges “deserve” to be killed is a threat to actually kill them. Hal Turner knows that saying someone “deserves” something is an opinion.

The US Attorney charged Hal Turner with “threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges.” Hal was held in federal prison, without bail, for 119 days. He was later released on $500,000 bail.

Hal went on trial on December 1 and the Jury voted 9 to 3 in favor of ACQUITTAL. A mistrial was declared and a second trial took place on March 1, 2010. That second Jury was also unable to reach a unanimous verdict so another mistrial was declared. A third trial was scheduled for April 12, but has now been rescheduled until August 9.

Legal costs and being jailed for four months severely impacted Hal and his family. Being held under house arrest for five more months once he got out on bail drove Hal into Bankruptcy. Such is the price for freedom of speech under the Obama regime.

ROUND 3: Gov't to try Turner THIRD Time!

This announcement by the government violated a media "gag order" imposed by the trial Judge in the case. During the first trial, just before the hung jury was announced, Assistant US Attorney (AUSA) William R. Hogan specifically asked the court to remind the defense that no one involved in Turner's case was allowed to speak to the media. The court issued that reminder. When the jury came out and announced they were hung, that same AUSA, William Hogan, walked out of the courtroom and spoke to the New York Daily News which quoted him the next day!

Clearly the US Attorney's office doesn't care what the court wants because they know the Judge in the case won’t hold them accountable. If Hal Turner violated the court's order, he'd forfeit his bail and be thrown back in jail. The prosecution has now violated the court's order TWICE, with no consequence.

This fits a pattern of behavior which grows more troubling with each passing day.

CASE RIGGED?

During trial #1, both the government and the defense gave opening statements one after the other. Also during trial #1, during the government's case-in-chief, the defense was able to cross examine government witnesses about Hal Turner's role as a national security intelligence operative. Fair, right?

All that changed for trial #2. Just days prior to trial #2, Judge Donald Walter issued an order forbidding the defense from giving their opening statement until AFTER the government rested! In addition, the Judge forbid the defense from cross-examining government witnesses about Turner's role with the FBI unless the Defense also subpoenaed those same witnesses for the Defense case-in-chief. More stunning was Judge Walter's ruling that the defense could NOT present any evidence about Turner's role with the FBI unless Turner himself first took the witness stand! This forced Turner to take the stand despite the fact he was not required to do so in Trial #1.

If these benefits to the prosecution weren't good enough, Judge Walter ALLOWED the testimony of three federal judges; the very judges whose testimony he ruled as "irrelevant" in trial #1. In Trial #1, the prosecution made it a key part of their case that they did NOT have to prove Turner ever communicated with any of the Judge in order for the government to convict. In fact, Turner never communicated with any of the judges he criticized in the Editorial which caused his arrest.

Turner never made any phone calls to the judges, never sent any letters, faxes or e-mails to any of the judges and never paid them a personal visit. Turner merely commented in an online editorial that because the Judge violated the US Constitution and ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling, they ". . . . . deserve to be killed."

The government claims that saying someone "deserves to be killed" is a threat to actually go kill them. Turner says that "deserve" is an opinion and is protected free speech.

In a stunning act of partiality toward the prosecution during trial #2, Judge Walter even went so far as to tell the Jury that he "has ruled Mr. Turner's remarks are NOT protected by the First Amendment." It was tantamount to instructing the jury that Turner was guilty!

In spite of all this case rigging, Jurors in Trial #2 were hung again and a second mistrial was declared.

Two separate and very different claims regarding the jury vote came out after trial #2. After the trial, two jurors from the case were seen in a nearby parking lot and they told Turner's family the vote was 10 to 2 in favor of acquittal. About two weeks later, the Judge in the case gave both sides a different vote tally, less favorable to Turner.

According to well placed sources, if the public were to add the number of jurors who voted for conviction in both trials, it still totals less than 12.

So despite the case rigging outlined above, Turner still didn't get convicted. This makes us wonder how much farther the case will be rigged for trial #3.

Hal Turner spent 119 days in federal prison without bail after he was arrested for his editorial twenty days after it first appeared on the internet. He was then released on $500,000 bail, but under house arrest, with electronic monitoring, forbidden to speak to the media or to anyone outside his immediate family about his case. He is also forbidden from using the internet.

As of today, the United States government has jailed, prosecuted and twice put on trial Hal Turner for nothing more than an editorial opinion. The draconian restrictions placed on Turner forced him into Bankruptcy and deprived him of his civil rights for more than 9 months. Today, we find out Hal must endure such cruel treatment for another 5 months until his third trial on August 9.

Tell us again how the United States is the “land of the free?” Tell us again how we enjoy “freedom of speech?” It’s all a fraud.

Hal Turner’s first “Mission” for FBI

(http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com)Last week, we announced that we would begin telling you what the FBI paid Hal Turner to do. Today, we begin that process with a fascinating story about Israeli involvement with 9/11, and an FBI counter intelligence operation against the ADL and AIPAC.

The information in this story comes from letters written by Hal Turner from federal prison before he got out on bail. He remains free, awaiting a third trial on charges he “threatened” 3 judges. Hal Turner is presently under a “gag order” imposed by the court. That order prevents him from speaking to the media and from using the internet. The information in this story was written in letters to us before that gag order was imposed on Hal. We, Hal’s family, are not subject to any such gag order, so we’ve decided to publish the letters Hal mailed to us from prison so you, the American people, can know the truth.

In any case below where links to outside media sources are included in this story, these links were researched by us to corroborate information provided by Hal in his letters from prison. Here now, Hal Turner’s first “mission” as a National Security Intelligence Operative with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Just weeks after being recruited into the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Hal Turner got a phone call from one of the top people inside the FBI to arrange a meeting. During that call, it was made clear to Turner that he was to keep this meeting secret from his regular FBI contacts, Agent Stephen Haug and Det. Leonard Nerbetski!

The meeting took place a week or so later at a small diner on Market Street at the intersection of Flemming Street in Newark, NJ, just blocks north of the Newark Police Precinct. In attendance was a top level Special Agent in Charge and a Supervising Special Agent from FBI Newark.

The FBI told Turner that they had been familiar with his show for quite some time and there were problems within the FBI and US Justice Department that Turner was in a unique position to help with. This didn’t make sense to Turner because by his own admission, he was a nobody. He had a relatively small internet webcast which at the time had maybe 20,000 listeners per night and his radio show was only carried on about two dozen radio stations throughout America.

Even with the radio audience, Turner wasn’t even a blip on any media radar screen. Despite the small radio audience, Turner’s web site had about two million unique visitors a year and Turner didn’t see how he could possibly be in any position at all to help.

The FBI went on to explain their thinking and the explanation astonished Turner. We think it will absolutely fascinate you too.

September 11 – FBI Newark Had Advance Warning

The discussion began with the attacks of September 11 and how the FBI in Newark had been approached and warned about such attacks more than a full YEAR before the attacks took place.

The FBI told Turner that in March of 2000, a Pakistani-born British citizen named Niaz Khan walked into the FBI’s Newark, NJ office and told them he had been recruited by Osama Bin Laden’s group to hijack airplanes and was now in the U.S. to carry out such a plan.

Niaz Khan had been a waiter in a Curry restaurant in London, had become disgruntled at his life and became receptive to the preaching of a local Muslim Cleric. He learned about Jihad and decided that since his life was so miserable, he was willing to die for Allah.

Bin Laden’s group trained him in hijacking techniques, how to smuggle weapons through airport security, how to overpower passengers and the like. They flew him from London, to Pakistan and elsewhere so he could familiarize himself with real life airport security procedures to prepare.

Once he arrived at JFK Airport in New York, Al Qaida wired him about a quarter million dollars with instructions to recruit and train others for the attacks, but Khan got cold feet. Instead of using the money to recruit others, Khan travelled to Atlantic City and gambled away most of the money!

Fearful that AL-Qaida would find him and kill him for what he’d done, Khan walked into the FBI office in Newark, NJ and spilled his guts. FBI Newark interviewed him for 6 weeks. They administered at least two separate lie detector tests and Khan passed both!

Despite the evidence, a strange order came down from FBI Headquarters in Washington: Cut Khan loose. FBI HQ told FBI Newark to put Khan on a plane back to Britain and forget about him. FBI HQ said that British Intelligence, known as MI-5, would interview Khan once he arrived in Britain. So, despite the time and effort put into investigating Khan, FBI Newark complied with the instructions from HQ and sent Khan back to Britain.

On September 11, 2001, the attacks Khan had warned about, took place. The FBI people told Turner they were devastated because everyone in FBI Newark instantly remembered Niaz Khan and realized the attacks could have been prevented. This motivated FBI Newark to go after the 9-11 investigation with a vengeance, but each time they tried, more strange orders came down from FBI HQ in Washington, telling FBI Newark to back off.

Bear in mind that Hal Turner was being told all of this by the FBI in the summer of 2003 shortly after he was recruited by the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). More than a year later, this part of Hal Turner’s story was confirmed by main stream media sources when NBC News, the London “Guardian” Newspaper and The London “Independent” newspaper all published stories containing the facts laid out above.

The Israeli Connection to 9-11

The FBI went on to tell Turner that on September 11, 2001 a series of things took place in addition to the attacks themselves, which lead FBI Newark to believe the state of Israel was deeply involved in the events of that day.

First, while the World Trade Center was under attack in lower Manhattan, a white Chevy van was directly across the Hudson River in Liberty State Park in Jersey City. A group of 5 men were with the van and they had set up video cameras before the attacks took place. When the jetliners slammed into the World Trade Center, witnesses in Liberty State Park watched in horror as the men with the white van cheered with joy as the attacks took place. The witnesses called police with a description of the van and of the men.

Police issued a “BOLO” (Be On the Look Out) for the van. A couple hours later, a police officer in East Rutherford, NJ was patrolling Route 3 near Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands. This location provided a clear view of the World Trade Center which was about four miles to the east.

The officer came upon a moving-van-type of truck parked on the service road next to the highway where a number of men were standing and cheering with joy as the World Trade Center towers collapsed. The officer confronted them men, who produced ID showing they were Israeli citizens. The answers they gave to the Officer’s questions raised great suspicion with the officer so he arrested all the men on “suspicion” of involvement with the attacks.

The moving-van, from a company named Urban Moving Systems of Weehawken, NJ, was impounded and the FBI was notified. Bomb-sniffing dogs were brought to the van and they “alerted” to the presence of explosives. Packages inside the vehicle were x-rayed by portable x-ray machine, but none contained explosives.

Found inside the van were maps of New York City with certain locations highlighted. FBI Newark obtained search warrants for Urban Moving Systems offices in Weehawken, NJ. But upon arrival, the offices were vacant; cleaned out. A check of company personnel revealed a majority of the company’s employees were . . . . . Israelis . . . . . and they had flown out of the country within days of the attacks. All of them flew to . . . . . Israel.

The FBI went on to tell Hal Turner that the Israelis who were arrested with the moving van were detained in jail and repeatedly questioned. One man refused a lie detector test for ten weeks and when he finally relented and took the test, he failed. Then, a strange order came down from FBI HQ in Washington: Let the men go.

FBI HQ told FBI Newark that the men were Israeli intelligence agents from the Mossad (The Israeli version of the CIA) and they had been in the US to track militant Arabs. But FBI Newark didn’t believe that explanation. FBI Newark believed the men were part of the attacks of 9-11 and the whole story about them being in the US to track Arabs was merely a “cover story.”

Bear in mind that Hal Turner was being told this by the FBI in 2003. The main stream media confirmed this aspect of Hal’s story in June, 2002, when ABC News “20/20” ran a major story confirming the facts laid out above. Second, on the day of the 9-11 attacks, rumors swirled that some 4,000 Jewish people who worked in the World Trade Center, just happened to not show up for work on 9-11. This was also reported on AL-MANAR Television news in Beirut, Lebanon shortly after the attacks. FBI Newark began investigating that claim and a week or so later, another strange order came down from FBI HQ: Stop the investigation.

Third, hours before the attacks of 9-11, an Israeli company named Odigo, allegedly received an instant message warning the attacks against the World Trade Center were going to take place that morning. Odigo alerted Israeli authorities but somehow, Israel “dropped the ball” and didn’t tell the US.

But as before, when FBI Newark began investigating the claims that ODIGO had gotten an instant message hours before the attacks, FBI HQ told FBI Newark to stop investigating.

Last but certainly not least, ICTS an Israeli owned security company, sells services to every airport from which the hijacked 9-11 planes operated, including security, sometimes through wholly owned subsidiaries like Huntleigh USA Corporation.

The FBI told Turner that such an incredible feat of hijacking four aircraft without a single arrest at the gate would require the resources of a nation-state. This is even more true with the revelation that at least one gun had managed to be aboard a hijacked plane.

The one company that had inside access to all of the airports from which hijacked planes departed on 9-11, and to the airports used by Richard Reid, the shoe bomber was ICTS, an Israeli company.

The FBI told Hal Turner that FBI Newark believed that it was no accident that Israel failed to pass along the pre-attack information from Odigo. They went on to tell Turner that FBI Newark believed that Israel knew the attacks were going to take place because Israel was involved in the attacks. The evidence, they said, is irrefutable.

The two high-level FBI people who met with Hal Turner that day told him they believed the FBI HQ was compromised. They told Hal that anytime any investigation was opened into a possible Israeli connection to 9-11, FBI HQ squashed the investigation. It was clear to FBI Newark that FBI HQ had security leaks who were thwarting any investigation of Israeli involvement in 9-11 and they had a plan to plug those leaks.

ADL and AIPAC Infiltration of US Law Enforcement

The FBI told Turner that the Israeli government maintains a vast spy network and major propaganda machines inside the United States. The “fronts” for that spy network and the source of the major propaganda are the Anti Defamation League (ADL) and the America-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

These groups promote themselves as being supportive of Jewish people and Jewish interests. They also tout themselves as guardians against “hate” and “anti-Semitism.” The reality, however, is quite different. The FBI explained that these groups are information –gathering networks and propaganda outlets. They seek-out anyone who espouses views contrary to Israel then smear and discredit such people as Anti-Semites, Bigots, Racists or even Nazis. In addition, whenever the state of Israel does something horrific, like bombing innocent Palestinians, invading another country or killing “militants,” ADL and AIPAC launch intense propaganda campaigns to smooth-over public relations.

The FBI told Hal Turner that whenever members of these two groups identify a potential “threat” to Jewish or Israeli interests, they engage intense efforts to find out anything and everything they can about the “threat.” So whenever a media personality, media outlet or political candidate says or does anything which conflicts with the Israeli agenda, the ADL and AIPAC go into attack mode.

The FBI explained that one way the ADL gets information about people they perceive as “threats” is by infiltrating law enforcement agencies in the USA to gain access to confidential police records. The ADL has a notorious history of doing this and has been caught several times accessing and possessing confidential police files. The FBI explained to Turner that AIPAC also has a very long history of actual espionage against the United States and provided Turner with un-redacted, classified documents for him to view proving what they claimed. The FBI wanted to exploit this aspect of ADL/AIPAC conduct to identify leaks and plug them.

Counter-Intelligence Operation

The FBI told Hal Turner that the fastest way to achieve this goal was for the FBI to attach an electronic “symbol” to Turner’s FBI records. This way, whenever any law enforcement agency or someone inside the Justice Department made an inquiry into FBI files about Hal Turner, the FBI computer system would read the “symbol” and secretly generate a report to the Joint Terrorism task Force showing who made the inquiry, the agency they were with, and the date and time the inquiry was made. This would allow the JTTF to identify ADL/AIPAC infiltrators and plug the information leaks.

This made sense to Turner, but he asked what he would have to do to make this system work? Why would the ADL or AIPAC even bother with him? The FBI told him to wait a few days until the FBI could put the electronic symbol on his files. Once Turner was notified that the symbol was in place, he was to go on the air and on the internet and ferociously attack jews and Israel with a level of vitriolic hatred akin to Josef Goebbels from the former Third Reich in World War 2 Nazi Germany. Turner agreed to do it but was warned in very strong terms to never reveal this operation to anyone, including to his primary JTTF contacts, Stephen Haug and Leonard Nerbetski. In order for the operation to work, he was told, no one could know about it, especially FBI HQ.

About two weeks later, Hal Turner got a call from Special Agent Stephen Haug, his primary contact at JTTF. Haug told Turner that the FBI had decided to place an electronic symbol on his file to “make certain Hal wasn’t concealing any police troubles from the FBI during his time with JTTF.” That’s what Haug thought, but Turner knew the truth. That phone call was the signal for Turner to let loose with anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli venom for the counter-intelligence operation and he did so with gusto.

Hal Turner went on the air and on his web site and let loose with every form of vitriolic filth imaginable about Jews and Israel. It didn’t take long for the ADL and AIPAC to take the bait.

Astonishing results!

Within weeks, dozens of unauthorized inquiries were being made into Hal Turner’s FBI files from law enforcement agencies around the country. Unauthorized accesses were made from within the Department of Justice, from within the FBI, from the Secret Service, from the US Marshal Service, from the US Capitol Police, from the Pennsylvania State Police and many other agencies. Each time an inquiry was made, a secret report of it went to the JTTF.

Over the coming months, JTTF made personal visits to those agencies and took up the issue of unauthorized access. They knew which operator did it, from which agency, from which computer terminal and those people were called on the carpet. It was made clear that such accesses to FBI files were not to be done in the future unless they were part of a legitimate and documented police investigation. It was made very clear that if future unauthorized accesses were made, the agency itself could find its access to FBI databases CUT OFF and anyone making such unauthorized accesses would be criminally prosecuted! Word of this spread like wildfire within law enforcement circles.

About 9 months later, in a casual phone conversation with the Special Agent in Charge of FBI Newark, it was revealed to Hal Turner that this operation netted “over 100” leaks. The FBI told Hal Turner that his work was the single most successful counter-intelligence effort in years and the nation owed Hal a debt of gratitude for cutting off unauthorized access to FBI files.

Investigating 9-11 and Israel, the end result:

With most of the pro-Israel leaks in the legal system plugged, FBI Newark was able to more thoroughly investigate what really happened on 9-11. The results? Well, let’s just say that when the real culprit behind 9-11 was properly identified by a preponderance of evidence, he was “dealt with.”

You heard about it in January, 2006, but never made the connection between what you heard in 2006 and what happened on 9-11. What YOU heard was that Israeli leader Ariel Sharon suffered a massive stroke. Yea. Right. A “stroke.” . . . . . . .

The truth is that Ariel Sharon was identified by US Intelligence Agencies as being the key to the attacks of 9-11. It was Israel and its intelligence agencies that funded and facilitated the Arabs who ultimately were duped into pulling-off the attacks.

The problem was that politically, Sharon and Israel were untouchable. For years Israel has bought-off half the US Congress, so our elected officials damn sure wouldn’t take any action. Instead, a decision was taken within the US Intelligence Community to take action.

Ariel Sharon had suffered a mini stroke in mid-December 2005 and at that time it was found he suffered from cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA), a brain disorder which, in conjunction with anticoagulant medication prescribed after his first stroke, greatly increased his risk of cerebral hemorrhage.

With this information in U.S. hands, and with all the evidence we needed pointing to Sharon’s involvement in the attacks of 9-11, medical folks within the US intelligence community were consulted. It was decided that the introduction of certain Amino acids with a concentrated dose of blood-thinners would guarantee Ariel Sharon would suffer an immediate cerebral hemorrhage. All it would take was a needle to the neck and Sharon would literally blow a gasket within hours.

That needle was administered by US intelligence operatives who were able to surreptitiously gain access to Mr. Sharon at his Sycamore Ranch in the Negev region of Israel. He blew a gasket and suffered a massive cerebral hemorrhage within minutes which basically resulted in brain death.

As panic ensued at the Sycamore ranch as Ariel Sharon went into convulsions, the US Intelligence operatives quietly slipped away undetected.

To all the world, it was a natural medical disaster that destroyed Ariel Sharon. To Intelligence Operatives like Hal Turner, the truth was quite different; and quite satisfying too.

That was one small part of the price Israel was to pay for their role in helping to kill almost 3,000 Americans on 9-11. No war. No political haggling. No investigations. No court. No Trial by jury. Just (brain) dead; exactly the way Israel itself deals with its enemies. We wonder how they like it now that its been done to them?

Until publication of this blog page, no one else in the entire world has ever released this fact. Now, the whole world knows.

Israel was to pay a further price for their role in 9-11 when they invaded Lebanon in 2007. We’ll talk more about that in an upcoming article describing what Hal Turner did for the FBI and the CIA during his trip to Brazil.

The U.S. Intelligence Community isn’t finished punishing Israel yet. If Congress doesn’t like it, they can go fuck themselves because the intelligence community has all the dirt on them too. Any member of Congress who steps out of line knows his dirt would be dumped on national TV, so Congress will keep quiet and pretend nothing’s going on. The intel community will take care of this Israeli business and when it’s over, justice will have prevailed.

Interesting Tid-Bit

One interesting tid-bit of information about 9-11 that may be of interest to you is a law suit brought by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the year 1998. The Port Authority owns the World Trade Center and at that time in 1998, it became known to Port Authority engineers that the World Trade Center towers suffered from a serious design flaw: The exterior stainless steel of the two towers was attached directly to the interior structural steel girders.

By attaching the stainless steel directly to the steel girders, in the presence of saltwater air from New York Harbor, caused oxidation of the structural steel to occur much more rapidly than anyone expected. Put simply, the steel girders holding up the two world trade center towers was disintegrating from this oxidation and ultimately, the two towers would have to be taken apart and fixed.

The Port Authority filed a claim with its insurance company to have them pay for this design flaw. The Insurance company refused, so the Port Authority sued the Insurance company in the United States District Court in Newark, New Jersey. The case was heard before the Honorable John Bissell.

Ultimately, Judge Bissell found in favor of the Insurance company. If anyone was going to pay to have the two towers taken apart and fixed, it would have to be the Port Authority itself. Look up the case on the US District Court’s PACER System. All the records are still there for everyone to see.

Instead of fixing the world trade center towers, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey sold its leases for tenants inside the World Trade Center, to Larry Silverstein, an ardent pro-Israel real estate developer. Silverstein stood to make a billion dollars from buying the leases . . . . . until he found out that the two buildings were going to fall down from the oxidation of the steel structure.

So with the WTC buildings headed for collapse anyway, and with billions at stake, the FBI speculated to Hal Turner that a plan was hatched to destroy the two buildings in an act of “terrorism.” This would get the government to foot the reconstruction bill, incense the American people into going to war, and ultimately, shift the war from terrorists to Saddam Hussein of Iraq, who was the biggest enemy of the State of Israel in the middle east.

In one fell swoop, the World Trade center, which was falling down anyway, would be taken care of, America would go to war against Israel’s biggest enemy, and the American people would pay for it all with their lives and national fortune.

The big government guys and their defense contractor buddies would get rich from bombing Iraq and Afghanistan back to the stone age, then double their money with government contracts to rebuild it all. No one in the nation had a clue as to how it all fit together. Until now.

Now, you know the truth

In his role as a national security intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force, Hal Turner protected America and its citizens from people with foreign loyalties who were illegally misusing police records to achieve their political, social and cultural goals. He also became privy to incredible information from intelligence operations of many kinds. Hal revealed these things to us after his own government betrayed him. We have now revealed some of what Hal told us, to all of you.

In doing what he did to plug the leaks of police information from pro-Israeli infiltrators, Hal begot powerful enemies in the ADL and AIPAC. Those groups had never been so cleverly outfoxed before. They had never faced this level of counter-intelligence operation and they fell for it hook-line-and-sinker. They got caught red-handed and a whole slew of their henchmen in law enforcement got straightened out, thus cutting-off (at least temporarily) the ADL/AIPAC flow of police information.

Perhaps that’s why representatives from ADL have been attending Hal Turner’s recent trials. Clearly, they want to get back at Hal for so successfully cutting-off their access to law enforcement records. Too bad for the ADL and AIPAC that Hal Turner is a loyal American who puts America ahead of Israel.

More than a year later, the FBI told Hal that the operation was so successful; they had another operation they needed him to do. This one would target the Southern Poverty Law Center in Montgomery, AL and its role in the bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995.

What the FBI Paid Hal Turner to do

(http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com) -- Using the contents of letters written to us from federal prison, We, the Family of radio host and blogger Hal Turner, are going to begin telling you what the FBI paid Hal to do. These letters were written from the Essex County Correctional Center (ECCC) in Newark, NJ, from the Federal Transfer Center (FTC) in Oklahoma City, OK, from the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Chicago and from the Hudson County Correctional Center (HCCC) in New Jersey throughout 2009. All of them were written and mailed before a gag order was imposed on Hal by a federal Court. That gag order forbids Hal from talking to the media, but it cannot stop us, Hal’s family, from publicly revealing what was sent to us before the gag order was imposed.

First, a little background:

As most of you know, last June, the US Attorney’s Office in Chicago ordered the arrest of radio host and blogger Hal Turner. Turner had written an editorial which criticized 3 federal judges on the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago and the US Attorney decided that Hal’s editorial was a “threat.”

In the editorial, Turner pointed out that the 3 judges had violated the US Constitution and willfully ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling. He went on to say the judges were “traitors” to the United States and nothing more than “tyrants.” He quoted Thomas Jefferson who wrote “The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots.” He then said “Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed. Their blood will replenish the tree of liberty.”

The US Attorney’s office in Chicago claims that saying the judges “deserve to be killed” is a threat to actually go out and murder them! Hal Turner says the word “deserve” is an opinion which is protected by the First Amendment.

The government arrested Hal Turner twenty one days after his editorial was published. They charged Hal with “Threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges.” The charge has no merit whatsoever.

Saying someone “deserves” something is an opinion. Nothing the US Attorney says can convert an opinion into a threat. We expect Hal will ultimately prevail in this case, although he’s already been through two full trials, both of which ended in hung juries. A third trial is tentatively scheduled for April 12, 2010 at the US District Court in Brooklyn, NY.

NOW, SOME DICEY FACTS:

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recruited radio host and blogger Hal Turner into their Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) in June, 2003. They “tasked” Hal to do and say things that would flush out radicals before they could commit acts of violence or domestic terrorism. The operation was very successful. Hal Turner protected America from people who would do us harm.

During his years with the JTTF, Hal rose from a Confidential Informant/ Privileged Media Source, to Extra-territorial Source, to National Security Intelligence Operative. Hal worked with Agents from the FBI, The Secret Service, the US Marshal Service, the CIA and even military officials in the Pentagon. He had access to CLASSIFIED material and direct lines of information from a variety of government insiders.

It was through those government insiders that Hal was able to report to all of you about the coming collapse of the US Dollars as a currency. When that takes place, the US Dollar, Canadian Dollar and Mexican Peso will all be merged into a new currency called THE AMERO. Old “dollars” will be redeemed at less than ten cents on the dollar, which is how the US Government will wipe out more than 90% of its multi-trillion debt. Creditors all over the world will be screwed out of their life savings in one fell swoop.

Hal made a YouTube video about this in the year 2008. That video appears below, and this story with more important information continues below the video:

It was those same government insiders who leaked the “Bank Stress Test” results to Hal. When he reported those results, proving that 16 of the top 19 banks in America are “technically insolvent” it sent bank stock values plummeting in April, 2009. The plunge was so terrible that no less than the United States Treasury issued a statement that day, claiming “The report by Hal Turner of North Bergen, NJ regarding Bank stress test results is false. Turner cannot have those results because we don’t have them yet.”

The same day, Bloomberg Business news reported that Turner could, in fact, have the results because ten days earlier, the federal reserve had told Citibank and Goldman Sachs to keep the results secret.

The fact that the US Treasury got caught in a lie only made bank stock values fall further. When that day was done, bank stock values on stock markets around the world, plunged an incredible $2.3 BILLION in value. This begot Hal Turner many powerful enemies. Two months later, a US Attorney indicted Hal on a bullshit charge of “threatening” some judges, and Hal’s voice on the radio and the internet was silenced.

As the popularity of Hal’s radio show and web site grew, the friends he’d made inside government began leaking information to Hal.

It was those government insiders that confirmed to Hal the manufacture and deployment of prisoner rail cars. Hal obtained video of one such group of rail cars in New Jersey and posted that video on Youtube for all the world to see. That video appears below and this story continues below the video.

It was those same government insiders who alerted Hal to the FACT that the US Army and National Guard are right now – at this very moment – advertising on their web sites for “Internment camp guards” here in the United States. Don’t take our word for it, look it up right now yourselves. Why would our own government be hiring “internment camp guards” unless they plan to intern Americans right here in the USA?

In his role as a national security intelligence operative, Hal Turner dealt with FBI Agents in the war zones of Iraq and later, in the war zones of Afghanistan. Hal traveled outside the United States and uncovered plots to supply the Iraqi resistance. He prevented the fire-bombing and murder of college students in the USA, he thwarted a plot to bomb a federal courthouse in Virginia, obtained credible information of a plan to attack with Mortars, the election-night celebration of Barack Obama in Grant Park in Chicago, stopped the sale of US military “stealth” technology on the black market, obtained valuable information about the Bombing of the US Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, stopped narcotics funding of a terrorist enterprise and much more.

While working for the FBI, Hal Turner performed many tasks both inside and outside the USA that affected the national security of the United States. He also learned many things. Inside things; the kinds of things you don’t read about in newspapers.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll reveal things that will absolutely fascinate you. Some of it will frighten you. Some of it will absolutely disgust you. But when we’re finished, you’ll have a better understanding of what’s really going on inside the United States Government and why they’re trying so hard to throw Hal in prison to shut him up for good.

Skeletons in the closet of US Attorney Prosecuting Hal Turner

Chicago, IL – (http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com) Assistant U.S. Attorney William R. Hogan is the man prosecuting radio host and Blogger Hal Turner over an Editorial on Turner’s web site from June, 2009.

During Turner’s second trial last week, Mr. Hogan introduced “evidence” from Turner’s web site dating all the way back to the year 2002. He even stooped so low as to raise an issue about a Letter-to-the-editor of a local newspaper Turner wrote in the year 1998.

None of Hogan’s “evidence” had anything to do with the charges against Mr. Turner, but Hogan used those pieces of “evidence” to muddy-the-waters in Turner’s trial. Clearly Hogan was trying to get the jury to Hate Mr. Turner so as to wrongly convict him. Hogan’s effort failed – again. The jury in the second trial was hung with the vote being 10 – 2 in favor of ACQUITTAL.

Seeing as Mr. Hogan thought it proper to dig into Hal Turner’s background, we decided it might be interesting to delve into Mr. Hogan’s Background. So, we did.

Oh, what a treasure trove of dirt we found! It turns out that Assistant United States Attorney William R. Hogan has quite a shady past.

Hogan has been with the US Attorney’s Office in the Northern District of Illinois (Chicago) for many years. In that time he developed a reputation as a man willing to win at any cost; even if it meant allegedly bribing witnesses, committing fraud, lying to juries and allowing inmates who “snitch” to get sex, drugs and unsupervised telephone access!
On at least one occasion, an inmate-turned--snitch was brought to the US Attorney’s Office where he was later caught having sex on the U.S. Attorney’s conference room table with his girlfriend! For Mr. Hogan, it didn’t seem to matter as long as he won.

While such antics didn’t seem to matter to Mr. Hogan, they mattered to the Illinois State Bar Association. A State Ethics Panel filed Ethics charges of fraud and suppression of evidence against Hogan for his alleged role in the botched prosecutions of El Rukn street gang members.

The ethics accusations against Hogan - the lead prosecutor of the El Rukns from 1988 to 1993 - allege that he withheld evidence from defense lawyers, made inaccurate statements to jurors and later gave inmates unfettered access to sex, drugs and unsupervised telephone use so they could run their street gang from the US Attorney’s office!

The most damning allegation - that Assistant U.S. Attorney William R. Hogan Jr. knew about positive drug tests of two cooperating witnesses and failed to tell defense attorneys about it!

The uproar over Hogan’s conduct was so serious that a federal judge threw out three El Rukn convictions which triggered a litigation nightmare that reached far beyond three defendants.

Defense attorneys said the judge's ruling could be the "death knell" for 34 other El Rukn trial convictions, spur the reversal of witness plea agreements and prompt motions in other cases - including an Operation Greylord case, the John Cappas investigation and a civil case involving a mob trial.
"It has tremendous implications," said law Professor Richard Kling, one of three attorneys who won new trials for El Rukn gang members.

After a nearly three-year probe, the U.S. Justice Department fired Hogan then fought to keep secret testimony by FBI agents and other witnesses called during the investigation.

Assistant U.S. Attorney William R. Hogan was notified that he was FIRED in a 16-page letter dated April 11 from Justice Department official David Margolis.

As most common folks already know, the legal system is infested with sleaze and back-room-deals. A couple deals later and all of a sudden, Mr. Hogan got his job back. Evidence of any wrongdoing was quietly squashed and Mr. Hogan had to lay low for awhile; obeying the rules and minding his P’s and Q’s.

All that changed with the trial of Hal Turner. It seems Mr. Hogan – who probably should have been disbarred – is back to his old tricks.

During trial #2 in the Hal Turner case, a particularly intense confrontation took place between Mr. Hogan and Mr. Turner. While Turner was testifying, he hinted that the financial records from the FBI were not complete Hogan asked “Are you suggesting my office has withheld evidence? Turner shot back “Yes.” Then let loose with a litany of proof.

Rather than describe it, we’ll let you read the actual court transcript to see for yourselves, then we’ll continue this story below. . . . .

Well, well, well. Old habits seem to die hard. Based on what’s in the court transcript above, it seems that Mr. Hogan is back to his old habits of suppressing evidence and lying to juries.

Hogan knows his case against Hal Turner is pure trash. He knows that Turner merely advocated violence in a context that did not lend itself to imminent lawlessness. He knows that such advocacy is protected by three separate US Supreme Court Decisions: “Brandenburg v. Ohio” “U.S. v. Watts” and “NAACP v. Claiborne Hardware.” But Mr. Hogan doesn’t seem to care about those rulings. He’s apparently trying to blur the line between advocacy and “threats.”

The only problem is, if he’s successful, it will forever smash 50 years of rock solid free speech case law. And if he gets away with it by successfully criminalizing Hal Turner’s opinion, then his brethren in other US Attorney’s Offices will be able to criminalize EVERYONE’S opinions.

Mr. Hogan opened the door to Hal Turner’s past. Turnabout is fair play.

The best part is, there are far more skeletons in Mr. Hogan’s closet. His Divorce is particularly dicey, but we’ll leave that alone; at least for now.

Hal Turner is not alone in this fight. His family, friends and intelligence operatives he worked with for years, are in this fight too. If cunning misdirection and sleazy character assassination is the path the government chooses to pursue, they’d better realize such tactics work both ways.

Everybody has skeletons in their closet. As we’ve just shown, we can dig them up.

JURY VOTES 10 – 2 FOR ACQUITTAL; NJ BLOGGER STILL FREE

Brooklyn, NY – (http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com) For the second time in three months, radio Shock-Jock and blogger Hal Turner has thwarted government efforts to convict him of threatening to murder 3 United States Judges. Jurors in the most recent case announced they were deadlocked yesterday, but returned to continue deliberations today.

Despite sending about 8 separate notes to the judge asking questions about the law and about evidence exhibits, Jurors once again announced they were deadlocked at 3:00 PM today.

The Judge called the Jury out into the courtroom and gave a modified version of the Allen Charge which instructs jurors how important a case is and that they should give further consideration to any fellow jurors who saw the facts in other ways. This instruction, under federal rules, is a last-ditch effort to help a jury come to a unanimous verdict.

In an extraordinary departure from the norm, Judge Donald Walter added a summary of the jury instructions to the Allen Charge in an effort to make clear the jury’s task. This hybrid instruction to the jury utterly failed to break the deadlock.

The hybrid Allen Charge was not the only irregularity in the trial. In fact, the second trial was skewed from the start by Judge Walter. Instead of allowing both the government and the Defense to give opening statements one-after-the-other, Judge Walter ordered the defense to wait until the government’s case was over before allowing them to give an opening statement. This served to bolster the government’s case by slanting the first half of the trial in the government’s favor.

Another strange alteration of trial procedure was an order by Judge Walter forbidding the Defense from mentioning Hal Turner’s role as an Intelligence Operative for the FBI unless Turner himself took the Witness stand. This requirement would have gutted the defense unless Turner testified; but Turner took to the stand with gusto.

Trial turned Slugfest

In a brutal two-day cross examination by Assistant US Attorney William Hogan, Turner absolutely shined. Time after time, as Hogan tried to paint Turner as a liar and a man who was simply wrong about the laws regarding freedom of speech, Turner let loose with responses that utterly destroyed Hogan’s line of questioning.

At times, the interactions between Hogan and Turner became so intense that the Judge had to warn both men “this is not a high school debate. Everyone will keep their voices down.” Despite that admonishment, both men engaged each other with a tenacity seldom seen in any American courtroom.

At times, Hogan became so flustered by the verbal beating being dished out by Turner, that Hogan fumbled for papers at the Prosecution lectern and was even seen talking to himself! If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, Hogan repeatedly found himself being told to “shut up” or “sit down” by Judge Walter. In one particularly amazing moment, Judge Walter told the Assistant United States Attorney “Mr. Hogan, sit down and don’t get up unless I tell you to.” The courtroom broke out in laughter as Hogan sat, slack-jawed, at the embarrassing rebuke.
In blistering responses to Hogan’s various accusations, Turner fired back with irrefutable facts, backed up by documents. Turner’s memory of events from years earlier foiled absolutely every attempt by the government to twist or manipulate the facts of the case.

After two days of hammering Turner over the content of his web site, it was clear to most observers in the courtroom that the case had become little more than a Bolshevik “show trial.” One courtroom observer remarked “This looks like the kind of trial we used to hear about in the former Soviet Union where the ruling regime put dissenters on trial.” Another attendee stated bluntly “This case is cloaked in legitimacy, but what the government is doing stinks like a whorehouse at low tide.”

The government was clearly trying to prosecute Turner for the ideology espoused on his web site and its raucous racial content. In fact, every piece of the government’s “evidence” had absolutely nothing to do with the charge against Turner. None of the web postings or e-mails brought-up on cross examination, had anything to do with the three judges Turner was accused of threatening. Clearly, the jury saw through the scam and instead focused on the blog posting that initiated the charges against Turner.

The prosecution began over an editorial Turner published last June which criticized three federal judges who violated the US Constitution and who ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling. The editorial called the Judges "traitors" and said they "deserve to be killed."

The government claims that "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually go kill them. Hal Turner says "deserve" is an opinion; protected free speech.

Jurors Gagged but speak out anyway

According to two jurors who sat on the case, the final vote was ten to two in favor of acquittal. The Jurors, who demanded anonymity because the Judge ordered them to stay away from the media, were incensed by that instruction. “When the judge first gave us the case, his written instructions said we could not tell anyone our vote until after the case was over. But when we finally came to the end, the Judge came in and specifically told us we were not to talk to the media,“ said One Juror.

The other Juror echoed those sentiments saying “The real reason they don’t want us talking to the media is because the prosecution lost so badly. They don’t want anyone to know their case was shit.”

Both Jurors confirmed that the two hold-outs were members of the jury who took great offense to one particular posting on Turner’s web site from the year 2008. In that posting, offered as “evidence” by the prosecution, Turner suggested the inauguration of Barack Obama “looked like a scene from planet of the apes.”

Historic Appearances by 3 Judges – Backfires!

Making this mistrial even more spectacular was the testimony of three United States Appellate Court Judges. The same judges Turner is accused of threatening. This trial marked the first time in the history of the United States that three sitting judges took the witness stand to testify against a defendant. It back-fired.

One Juror said “they let those judges come into court from a special side door instead of all the other witnesses who came and went like everyone else. It was clear to us that the judges were getting special treatment and that was just unfair to the Defendant.” The other Juror who spoke with us said “The judges were pompous and arrogant. The one guy (Judge Posner) actually whined about having to be in court – as though we weren’t good enough for him to be bothered with” she said.

All three judges took the stand and claimed they believed Turner’s editorial was a threat to murder them. But each looked like a complete fool when defense attorneys elicited that not one judge asked for protection from the US Marshal Service.

As the mistrial was declared, Turner was assigned a federal public defender because this case has sent him into Bankruptcy. Terms of Turner’s release from prison prevent him from working. He is under house arrest, forbidden to speak to the media or even to discuss his case with anyone but his immediate family. In fact, the only difference between the bail restrictions on Hal Turner and those imposed on Mafia Boss John Gotti is that Gotti had to post $4 Million bail while Turner got out on $500,000. All the other terms of Turner’s release are as severe as those on John Gotti.

A third trial for Hal Turner is tentatively scheduled to begin April 12.

Brooklyn, NY -- Radio host and blogger Hal Turner told his two attorneys today that at the end of his current trial, they will no longer represent him.

Turner explained that his legal team has had two full chances to defeat the government charges against him but the future remains unclear.

Turner's first trial in December ended in a hung jury. Today, Jurors in his second trial told the judge they "will not ever" come to a unanimous decision.

While the present jury was told to resume deliberations tomorrow, it now appears likely Turner's second trial will also result in a hung jury.

Whether the present jury is hung or if the worst happens and Turner is convicted, the Turner Family feels a new set of eyes on this case will achieve better results.

POWERFUL EVIDENCE: FBI PAID TURNER TO SAY JUDGE “WORTHY OF DEATH”

Brooklyn, NY (Family-of-Hal-Turner.blogspot.com)– The federal criminal trial of radio shock-jock Hal Turner took a dramatic turn this week when the defense proved with actual FBI documents that Turner was paid to go on national TV and say a federal judge was “worthy of death.” It was revealed last July that for years, Turner was a National Security Intelligence Operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Using two video clips from two separate national television shows, along with FBI pay vouchers and payment memos, defense lawyers flatly proved the FBI not only allowed Turner to say a federal judge was “worthy of death” but the FBI later allowed him to mention several elected public officials BY NAME and say they “deserve to be killed.’

Even more astonishing, less than two weeks after his appearance on national TV shows and posting the courthouse addresses of three Chicago judges, the FBI paid Turner $3,000 for doing it!

The icing on the cake: The payment memo issued to explain the $3,000 payment to Turner clearly states it was “. . . . . not illegal or criminal to post the Judges addresses on TURNERS web site. . . . .”

This may have been all Turner needed to drive a stake through the heart of the government’s case against him, which charges Turner with “Threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges.” The government is prosecuting Turner over an editorial he published last June which criticized three federal judges who violated the US Constitution and who ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling. The editorial called the Judges "traitors" and said they "deserve to be killed."

The government claims that "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually go kill them. Hal Turner says "deserve" is an opinion; protected free speech.

As a large screen descended from the courtroom ceiling and the lights dimmed, the courtroom stared in stunned disbelief as video of Turner from the national TV show “DATELINE NBC” showed the facts. In that video, which aired in April 2005, turner boldly repeated a statement he made on his worldwide radio show in 2002 that a ruling made by a federal judge made her “worthy of death.” When asked by DATELINE correspondent John Murphy if Turner still believed that, he replied “Yep . . . . . that’s my opinion.”

When the DATELINE video finished, Turner was still on the witness stand and explained that in late February of 2005, the mother and husband of a federal Judge in Chicago had been brutally murdered. The FBI suspected White Supremacists were involved in those killings and they met with Turner the following morning to plot a strategy.

At a meeting which took place at the Coach House Diner on Kennedy Blvd in North Bergen near Turner’s home, Turner testified that Special Agent Stephen M. Haug of the FBI and Detective Leonard Nerbetski of the New Jersey State Police spoke with Turner about using his extremist radio show to flush out information about the murders.

At that meeting, Turner testified, a plan was proffered to “poke fun at the murders” to see if it would flush out information from any White Supremacists who may have been involved. Turner testified that he was told to “ratchet-up the rhetoric” and to do so in a way that would “enhance his image as an anti-government radical.”

Within an hour of that meeting, Turner returned to his North Bergen home and uploaded to his radio show web site, a photo of the Judge whose family had been killed beneath a banner headline which read “GOTCHA.”

Turner continued his testimony by saying after appearing on DATELINE NBC, he was invited to appear on FOX NEWS CHANNEL. On March 5, 2005, Turner appeared live during a segment of “At Large with Geraldo Rivera” and again repeated that a federal judge was “worthy of death.” Then, in a move that shocked even the jaded Geraldo Rivera, Turner went on to publicly name three additional judges on the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals and said they “would now feel the same scorn as Judge Lefkow.” He proceeded to name the Judges as a slack-jawed Geraldo sat in stunned disbelief.

When the video from FOX NEWS CHANNEL finished playing, the lights in the courtroom returned to normal and Jurors then got an earful of more shocking defense evidence. Audio from a “Hal Turner Radio Show” was played from one year later which let the jury hear Turner name several elected officials and public university professors. Turner said they were “legitimate targets” for betraying the United States by supporting illegal aliens. Turner let loose by saying they “deserve to be killed” and later saying “I advocate anyone who can get close enough to go do it!”

After the audio clip, Turner was asked if he was arrested for what he’d said and testified “no.”

The icing on the cake came when defense lawyers produced an FBI pay voucher which shows the Bureau paid Turner $3,000 on March 18. The cherry-on-top to the defense was a memo accompanying the pay voucher which read in part “. . . . . . there was nothing illegal or criminal about publishing the Judges addresses on TURNER’S web site. . . . .” View a .PDF of those documents HERE

Whether this is strong enough to overcome the government case remains to be seen. In a despicable act of treachery, Assistant US Attorney William Hogan used material from Turner’s web site from as far back as 2002 in an effort to smear Turner as a vile racist. So desperate was Hogan to win, that he even produced a letter to the editor of a local newspaper from the year 1998 wherein Turner had criticized another federal judge. If that wasn’t low enough, Hogan then produced information about Turner having to leave his real Estate job with COLDWELL BANKER in 1997 because protesters threatened to picket the realtor over Turner’s on-air remarks as a caller to radio station 77 WABC in New York!

Turner was on the witness stand for more than two days and the majority of that time was spent deflecting government playing the race card. According to numerous persons in attendance, Turner was masterful at rebuking the government on almost every point.
Making matters quite interesting was the repeated need for Judge Donald Walter to tell Mr. Hogan to “stop.” In one extraordinary moment on Friday, Judge Walter had to tell Assistant US Attorney Hogan, “Sit down and don’t get up until I tell you to.” So stunning was this open display of judicial discontent that spectators at the rear of the courtroom broke out in laughter as Hogan sat down with a look of stunned disbelief.

Seeing the rising pitch and intensity of the exchanges between Hogan and Turner, the Judge admonished both men “This is not a high school debate. Keep your voices down.”
Hogan was clearly rattled by Turner, who fought for his freedom tenaciously. Hogan repeatedly fumbled for papers at the Prosecution lectern and was even seen talking to himself as he clumsily fumbled for documents.

The trial has been a media event, with print journalists from the AP and newspapers throughout New York City and New Jersey in attendance. Producers from a very prominent TV news show have also been in the courtroom every day. If he wins the case, Turner is expected to appear on CBS News “60 Minutes” within weeks.

The trial will resume Monday when the Defense is expected to call Special Agent Stephen M. Haug and Special Agent Dan Brunner, both from the FBI. Haug is expected to testify that Turner was a reliable and productive part of the Joint Terrorism Task Force and continued to supply information to the FBI after the Bureau cut ties with Turner in 2007. Agent Brunner is expected to rebuke Government claims that Turner was no longer desirable to the FBI when he is asked to testify about contacts with Turner as recently as March 2009.

If things go as expected, closing arguments would probably take place on Tuesday with the Jury being given the case either late Tuesday or Wednesday.

JUDGE SIDES WITH TURNER! TRIAL BEGINS MONDAY

In yet another legal victory for radio host and blogger Hal Turner, a federal judge has ruled Turner's role as a national security intelligence operative for the FBI can be admitted at trial.

The government is prosecuting Turner over an editorial he published last June which criticized three federal judges who violated the US Constitution and who ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling. The editorial called the Judges "traitors" and said they "deserve to be killed."

The government claims that "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually go kill them. Hal Turner says "deserve" is an opinion; protected free speech.

Last December, Turner went on trial in Brooklyn. The government's case began to fall apart almost immediately when government witnesses confirmed Turner was a national security intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force from 2003 through 2008. Turner's attorneys pointed out that the FBI itself "counseled" Turner on the lawful use of violent rhetoric so he could flush out radicals before they committed acts of terrorism.

Government witnesses confirmed Turner dealt with national security, terrorism and foreign counter-intelligence. He was recruited by the FBI to use his status as a celebrity to infiltrate violent groups. To accomplish that task, the FBI repeatedly "counseled" Turner on the lawful use of violent rhetoric so he would know exactly what was legal to say.

When the government rested their case, the Defense did the same without presenting any witnesses or evidence. Despite offering absolutely no defense, a majority of the jury sided with Turner. The case ended in a hung jury that voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal.

The upcoming trial will be different. This time, Turner will mount an aggressive defense. Subpoenas have already been issued for a variety of witnesses and a number of FBI Documents, e-mails and material from the Joint Terrorism Task Force will be placed into evidence by the defense.

The government, realizing they were likely to lose the second trial, asked the trial Judge to forbid the Defense from revealing Turner's role with the FBI. In a motion filed two weeks ago, the government claimed jurors would be confused" if they found out about Turner's role with the FBI. Judge Donald Walter disagreed and DENIED the government's motion; Turner’s role with the FBI can come in as evidence.

The government also asked the Judge to allow them to introduce certain e-mails and web site content which was totally irrelevant to the present case. Judge Walter DENIED that Motion as well, sending the government's high-flying case into a tail spin.

The slow-motion collapse of the government's case can be watched as it unfolds this week at the Federal Courthouse in Brooklyn, located at 225 Cadman Plaza East. Jury selection begins at 9:00 AM on Monday, March 1. Opening statements will take place after jury selection and trial will begin on Tuesday, March 2. The trial is open to the public.

In a desperate bid to save their losing case, federal prosecutors are seeking to conceal evidence from the jury in the upcoming re-trial of radio host and blogger, Hal Turner.

Stung by a hung-jury which voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal after Turner's first trial in December, Prosecutors now want to conceal Turner's role with the FBI, claiming it will only confuse the jury.

Hal Turner was recruited by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) to act as a National Security Intelligence Operative for that agency. In his role with the JTTF, the FBI taught Turner what was legal and what was illegal to say on the radio and on his web site.

FBI Documents prove the FBI budgeted $100,000 a year for Turner and paid him tens of thousands of dollars for his work on the radio, the internet and at public rallies.

The two largest newspapers in New Jersey are reporting the government’s nefarious efforts to hide evidence from the Jury. "The Record" in Hackensack, NJ and "The Star-Ledger" in Newark are all over this snake-like effort by the government to essentially cheat during the upcoming trial.

CBS NEWS '60 Minutes" Seeks Turner Interview; Judge says "No"

The nations #1 television news show, "60 Minutes" formally requested an interview with radio host and blogger Hal Turner in connection with his ongoing criminal case. The TV show is the most-watched news program in the world, with 15 million viewers every Sunday evening on CBS. When the request for interview was made the, Judge presiding over Turner's case said "no."

Turner is being criminally prosecuted in federal court over an editorial he published last June. The editorial said 3 judges in Chicago violated the US Constitution and also ignored a recent US Supreme Court ruling. It went on to say the three judges were "traitors" to the USA who "deserve to be killed."

The government claims that saying "deserve to be killed" is a threat. They arrested Turner on a charge of threatening to assault and murder three United States Judges. Turner contends the word "deserve" is an opinion and that his editorial is protected free speech.

Rumors of "60 Minutes" interest in the case surfaced last December during Turner's trial. At least three producers from "60 Minutes" were seen attending the trial. The trial ended in a hung jury which voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal. The hung jury resulted in a mistrial so Turner is being tried a second time beginning March 1. Trial will take place at the United States Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY. Supporters are encouraged to attend because this trial is historic.

History in the making; Judges will take witness stand!

Hal Turner is the first editor in America to be jailed for an editorial since the year 1798. The last editor to be jailed for an editorial was the grandson of Benjamin Franklin, one of America's Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin Bache, who edited his grandfather's newspaper, died in prison while awaiting trial.

Adding to the historic aspects of the case, we have been told that all three federal Judges who were allegedly "threatened" by the editorial will actually take the witness stand during this new trial! It ought to be very interesting to see lawyers grilling the three judges who have no choice but to answer questions under oath.

In preparation for the Judges appearance as witnesses, the Turner family has reached out to retired trial lawyers who can't be intimidated or face retaliation for lacing-into a sitting federal judge. The family believes the Judges can be cross examined in such as way as to prove they are, in fact, traitors to the country and in at least one case, a personal degenerate. The Turner family wants to bring several additional lawyers into the case on day one of the new trial so the government won't know who they are in advance and won't be able to intimidate or co-opt them.

Bringing lawyers out of retirement to examine the judges is important because of the nature of what may come out. Research into the judge's backgrounds has turned up numerous situations where one or more of these Judges is routinely abusive on the bench. Even more startling is information - and photos -obtained by private investigators who had the judges under surveillance. These investigators report certain "proclivities" that may be explosive revelations at trial. If a young lawyer were to engage in this type of activity, he would be outcast from the legal profession or more likely driven into Bankruptcy when the system turned on him. Hence, the need
for additional lawyers who are not susceptible to such tactics.

Governor to testify

Adding to the historic aspect of the upcoming trial may be the appearance of New Jersey Governor Christopher Christie. Prior to his election, Christie was the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey. In that capacity, his office issued a "Blanket Letter of Declination" flatly declining to prosecute Hal Turner for what he said on radio or published on his web site.

That letter details how Turner was trained by the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in the use of violent rhetoric and also makes clear Turner was trained in the law and knows how to phrase his utterances in lawful terms.

The Defense asserts that as US Attorney, Christopher Christie flatly declined to prosecute Hal Turner and the blanket letter of declination represented the entire United States government. The defense wants to know how it is that one US Attorney can flatly refuse to prosecute anything on behalf of his client, the United States of America, while another US Attorney proceeds with prosecution for that very same client over the very same issue?

Turner argues the Blanket letter of declination was a defacto grant of immunity and as such, the US Attorney in Chicago is precluded from pursuing the case.

Sadly, during the first trial, the letter was ruled "attorney work product" and was concealed from the jury by the court! The defense believes that can be overcome by bringing Chris Christie into court and putting him on the witness stand.

Turner was a national security intelligence operative for the FBI who utilized him to flush-out radicals before they could commit acts of violence. Records to be introduced at trial will prove Turner was paid thousands of dollars after making similar statements about judges in the past, and was specifically told that publishing the names and addresses of Judges on his web site was legal. In addition, Turner went on two national television shows and stated that a federal judge was "worthy of being killed" and was still paid thousands by the FBI after doing so.

In the present case, Turner did the same thing, saying three judges "deserve to be killed" and publishing their courthouse address on his web site. If those acts were not a crime in the year 2005 when Turner did it for the FBI, then how are those same acts a crime in 2009?

Prosecutors scurry to hide

The formal request for an interview by "60 Minutes" came to Turner's lawyers in January. However the terms of Turner's release on bail forbid him from giving media interviews without permission from the court.

Lawyers asked Judge Donald Walter for permission to give the interview to "60Minutes" and initially, Judge Walter said "Yes" but told defense attorneys to check with the government to see how they feel.

When the US Attorney realized his shenanigans of prosecuting an American citizen for an opinion would be scrutinized by the top rated news show in the country, he objected to allowing the interview to take place. On this objection, Judge Walter refused permission, thus preventing the interview with Turner.

The Family of Hal Turner wonders, if their case is so worthy why is the US Attorney hiding from "60 Minutes?" If the US Attorney is so proud of what he's doing, why not appear on national TV? The answers to these rhetorical questions are simple: The US Attorney is corrupt; his case lacks any merit and he wants to hide what he's doing from the American people.

It's a real shame, too. We found out that Assistant US Attorney William Hogan had some "troubles" not too long ago, wherein rumors swirled the federal courthouse that Hogan bribed a prosecution witness with illicit drugs and booze to get that witness to say what Hogan wanted. We were looking forward to seeing Hogan explain that on "60 Minutes." Instead, Hogan hides in the closet hoping his treacherous past and his ongoing skullduggery in the Turner case remains hidden from the public. Thankfully, we know it's only a matter of time before Hogan's closet is opened to the country. If "60 Minutes can't do it, we will.

FEDERAL JUDGE GIVES SPEECH TO BAR ASSOCIATION ABOUT TURNER CASE!

Chicago, IL – In a very rare and unusual move, a sitting federal judge talked about a pending federal case in a speech before the American Bar Association (ABA). Judge Joan Lefkow (N.D. Ill.), whose husband and mother were killed in 2005 by a disgruntled litigant — seems to be on the fence about the Hal Turner case. At the recent ABA annual conference, she described the Turner case, then remarked:

“We’re probably all saying to ourselves, ‘Well, is that enough to constitute a threat under the law?’ and I honestly don’t know,” she said just before reading the relevant statute [18 U.S.C. § 115] out loud. “I don’t know if that’s a threat or not.”

Based on what he wrote, the government charged Hal with "threatening to assault and murder three United States judges."

THERE'S JUST ONE LITTLE PROBLEM

Hal was trained in the use of violent rhetoric because he was working with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force as a National Security Intelligence Informant. The FBI gave repeated instructions, some in writing, which taught Hal exactly where the line is between lawful and unlawful speech.

For instance, during the Lefkow murder investigation, two members of the JTTF contacted Hal early the morning after the Lefkow murders, asking to meet with him immediately. Hal met them at the Coach House Diner about a half mile away from his home in North Bergen, NJ.

At that meeting, Hal recalls Agent Stephen Haug and New Jersey State Police Detective Leonard Nerbetski inquired of him about the murders and then dropped a bombshell: They said it would increase Hal's "anti-government image" if he poked fun at the murders!

Hal remembers being flabbergasted at that, saying it was grotesque to make fun of such a thing. But the FBI was adamant saying they suspected White Supremacists were behind the killings and one way to flush them out was to make them think they had a friend they could confide in. Hal was to play that role.

Hal went home and within minutes of that meeting - on March 1, 2005 - Hal published a photo of Judge Lefkow beneath a banner headline which read "GOTCHA!"

Hal regretted having to do that and hopes one day to meet with Judge Lefkow, explain why he did what he did and apologize for the hurt such a thing must have caused. The FBI however, was quite pleased. Within two weeks of Hal poking fun at the Lefkow murders, the FBI paid him $3,000.

The paperwork accompanying the pay voucher covers the date range for which Hal was being paid and, among other things, specifically mentions Hal's work in the Lefkow murder case! In justifying the payment to Hal, the FBI paperwork states "there is absolutely nothing illegal or criminal about posting Judges addresses on TURNER'S web site." Hal has the pay voucher to prove this.

Not only did the FBI pay Hal $3,000 but months later, in an annual "Suitability Report" the FBI applauded Hal for his work on the Lefkow case, saying his efforts allowed the FBI to determine the Lefkow murders were NOT related to White Supremacist groups. That report went on to recommend Hal be retained and continue operating for the FBI, going to rallies and performing other tasks.

What's even more astonishing about this situation is that during Hal's criminal trial in December, US Attorneys William Hogan and William Ridgway tried using the Lefkow situation AGAINST Hal to try proving he was a threat! That trial ended in a hung jury which voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal. If Hal goes back on trial as scheduled for March 1, the pay voucher and its accompanying paperwork will be introduced as defense evidence. It will prove the FBI paid Hal Turner for what he did against federal judges.

The Real Cost of Freedom of Speech

Brief recap: Hal Turner is the first Editor of an American media outlet to be jailed for an Editorial since 1798. The last U.S. Editor jailed for an editorial was Benjamin Franklin Bache, grandson of Benjamin Franklin, making Hal’s arrest truly historic.

Hal was arrested on June 24, 2009 after publishing an Editorial which was critical of the way three federal Judges violated the US Constitution and violated a recent US Supreme Court Ruling. Hal wrote that the Judges were "traitors" to the United States and were tyrants. He quoted Thomas Jefferson's "Tree of Liberty Letter" which said "The tree of liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots." Hal then wrote "Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed."

The government claims that saying the judges "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually go out and kill them! Hal knows that saying someone "deserves" something is just an opinion; it is perfectly lawful free speech.

Based on what he wrote, the government charged Hal with "threatening to assault and murder three United States judges." This is an incredibly serious charge and defending against it is incredibly expensive.

Upon his arrest, Hal hired Michael Orozco, a partner in the law Firm Bailey & Orozco of Newark, NJ. Needless to say, this type of attorney does not come cheap. Thousands had to be spent to retain him.

Hal was arraigned in June but because he made a fund-raising appeal by phone to his radio audience, the Assistant US Attorney in New Jersey went ballistic. He mischaracterized that appeal as nefarious and the Magistrate Judge in New Jersey denied Bail pending Hal’s transfer to Chicago where the charges were filed.

Hal got to Chicago about 30 days later, having been held in federal custody in Newark, NJ, Oklahoma City, OK and finally Chicago. When he got to Chicago, Hal figured the government would have finally come to its senses, would have read his FBI records and realized it was the FBI itself that trained Hal in what was legal to say, and would have come to its senses. Sadly, that was not the case.

Instead of admitting their mistake, the government declared Hal a “high threat risk” and a “threat to government” and argued to Magistrate Martin Ashman in Chicago that Hal should be held without bail as a “danger to the community.” Stunned by this ridiculous and outrageous conduct, and having suffered a brutal media onslaught smearing him nationally, Hal instructed his lawyers to reveal his status with the FBI. This revelation – in open court - stunned Magistrate Ashman, who “continued” the bail hearing until August 10 so Hal could subpoena the FBI and prove he was no danger to anyone.

On August 10 when the Bail hearing resumed, the nationally-notorious Chicago corruption showed itself in all its ugliness. Despite having been served with Subpoenas, five members of the FBI failed to show up in court. Even more stunning, Assistant US Attorney William Hogan told Magistrate Ashman that no FBI people would be coming to the hearing because Hogan told them to ignore the subpoenas!

Instead of holding the FBI in contempt, and instead of Holding AUSA William Hogan in contempt, Magistrate Ashman halted the bail hearing without hearing any evidence or any testimony and ordered Hal held without bail. It was the single most astonishing shredding of the Constitution we’ve ever seen! Hal’s right to due process, his right to compel witnesses to testify on his own behalf and his right to bail were crushed as though they didn’t even exist. Hal was sent back to federal prison, to be held in solitary confinement inside the Special Housing Unit (the SHU) as a “high risk threat” and “threat to government.”

THE SHU:

The SHU is a jail within a jail. It’s where prisoners are sent when they break prison rules. Prisoners in the SHU are confined 23 hours a day, 7 days a week. When Hal asked why he was being punished, the prison told him “you are not being punished, you’re being held in Administrative Detention.” Hal asked ‘What’s the difference between Administrative detention and disciplinary segregation for those who had broken prison rules?” He was told “Prisoners in disciplinary segregation are being punished; those in Administrative segregation are not.” It was actually the same treatment but the prison just CALLED one “punishment!”

To put this in proper perspective for you, the federal prison in Chicago has all sorts of real and dangerous criminals: Murderers, rapists, armed robbers, those who committed horribly violent aggravated assault, gang-bangers, drug king-pins and the like. ALL those prisoners get to come out of their cells for about 14 hours every day to watch TV, watch movies, listen to radio, read books, shower, use the telephone, use the rooftop gym to exercise, buy a full range of foods, snacks and beverages from the prison commissary. They could do all those things but HAL COULD NOT!

Hal was only allowed out to shower on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Unlike the murderers, rapists, drug king-pins, gang bangers and other criminals held in the same prison, Hal could not watch TV, could not watch movies, could not listen to radio, could not read books. While all those (real) criminals could call their families, Hal could not. Hal was only allowed to phone home once a month! While all those (real) criminals could go outside once a day to exercise on the prison rooftop, Hal could not. He was restricted to (literally) a “cage” in the center of the SHU. The cage is a 10’ x 20’ cage with a broken exercise bike and a pull-up bar inside. That was Hal’s 1 hour of “recreation” every day while he was in the SHU. While the (real) criminals in the same prison could order a full range of food, snacks and other items from the prison Commissary, Hal could not. He was forced to select from a restricted list, unable to even buy a pen to write home. While all those criminals could call their lawyers anytime they wanted, Hal could not. Hal was restricted to calling his lawyers only twice a week.

Seeing this corruption first-hand, seeing the brutal isolation being forced upon Hal, and realizing that commuting from Newark, NJ to Chicago was unrealistic, Hal’s attorney, Michael Orozco strongly recommended Hal add an additional lawyer to act as local counsel. Hal added Chicago Attorney Nishay K. Sanan to join the fight. Mr. Sanan cost thousands more to retain.

The lawyers went to work with gusto. With the corruption so obvious, Hal’s lawyers got all the federal Judges in the entire 7th US Circuit “recused” from hearing the case. No federal judge in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan or Wisconsin could be involved. Next, the lawyers got an honest federal Judge from Louisiana, designated to the case.

Once the honest Judge from Louisiana got involved, things turned in Hal’s favor. First, the Lawyers successfully argued for a change of venue. This is very rare in federal court cases, but thanks to good lawyers and an honest Judge, the case was transferred from Chicago to Brooklyn, NY. Next, Hal’s Lawyers appealed the denial of bail and the honest Judge granted the appeal.

After suffering solitary confinement 23 hours a day in federal prison and after being held for 119 days, Hal was released on October 21 after posting $500,000 cash, but remains under House Arrest, with an electronic monitoring bracelet, forbidden to speak to the media or use the internet. He has not been able to work since June.

Hal went on trial in federal court in Brooklyn, NY on December 1, but the trial ended in a hung jury that voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal (Not guilty). As such, Hal must go on trial AGAIN starting on March 1.

!!! SURPRISE !!!

Hal’s lawyers explained to him that the amount of work they had to do so far was enormous and a second trial means even more work. That means another round of legal fees!

The pending second trial means thousands more for lawyer fees, thousands more for air fare and hotels and thousands more for transcripts and copies.

Since Hal has been unable to work since June and is still under house arrest, money is a real problem. A mortgage had to be taken on Hal’s house to bail him out, so no money can be gotten there. Hal’s wife had to sell the house she inherited from her mother in law to help support the family, but that closing has yet to take place. The family savings has been utterly wiped out with legal fees from the prior trial, so Hal is in a huge jam.

HISTORIC ARREST

Hal is the first American media editor to be jailed for an Editorial since the Civil War. The last American media editor to be jailed for an editorial in this country was Benjamin Franklin Bache, grandson of one of our Founding Fathers, Benjamin Franklin. Bache was jailed in the 1860's for publishing an Editorial opposing the Civil War. That's how long it has been since an Editor in America was arrested for an Editorial! That's why the arrest of Hal Turner is actually historic. This type of thing isn't supposed to happen in America, yet it is.

The charges against Hal are false; he committed no crime. The case against him is nothing short of a full frontal assault upon freedom of speech which is why 9 out of 12 jurors voted NOT GUILTY.
Hal made no threat to do anything to anyone. He made no demand for anyone to do anything to anyone and he did not say anything was actually going to happen to anyone. Yet the government charged him anyway. So much for freedom of speech.

Trial Transcript Reveals Hal Turner was "National Security Intelligence" and an "FBI Agent"

Brooklyn, NY -- The trial of radio host Hal Turner lead to some startling revelations which the media has barely covered. We have obtained the official Transcript of the trial and provide some details that you may find interesting.

According to Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Amy Pickett, the third highest ranking FBI Official in New York City, Hal Turner was involved in "National Security Intelligence." According to Pickett's testimony which appears in a scanned image of the official Trial transcript below, Hal Turner dealt with "National Security Intelligence, terrorism and foreign counterintelligence" while he served with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF).

According to Pickett, what Hal Turner did for the United States was ". . . really so serious that it cannot be handled at the local level. It has to go up to the Department of Justice."

WOW! How's that for a surprise?!

All the folks out there who thought Hal was some terrible person just got the surprise of their lives. Turns out Hal was one of the good guys! Read it for yourself in the image of Trial Transcript Pages 317 and 318 below.

But wait, it gets better. . . . .

The next scanned image (below) of Page 555 of the official Trial Transcript shows Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hogan told the Jury "There is no evidence in this case of any criminal activity committed by Hal Turner while he was an FBI Agent."

So now that the truth is out, how is it that Hal was arrested and put on trial for doing in 2009 what he did in 2002, did again in 2005 (twice) on National TV, did again in 2007 on his web site and did again in 2008 on his radio show?

If saying a federal Judge was "worthy of death" wasn't a crime in 2002 when Hal said it on radio station WBCQ, and those same words were not a crime when he repeated them on DATELINE NBC and again a week later on "At Large" with Geraldo Rivera on FOX NEWS CHANNEL. . . . . and were not a crime when he said them about a different Judge during his radio show in 2007 or again in 2008. . . . . then how were such words a crime in June 2009 for which Hal was arrested?

The simple truth is that what Hal said in his online editorial which he posted on June 2, 2009 were not a threat. They were not a crime. The entire case against Hal is crap and the jury in his trial saw it. That's why they voted 9 to 3 in favor of acquittal.

Given these irrefutable facts, revealed under oath by officials of the FBI during Hal's trial earlier this month, when will sanity return to the system and these charges against Hal be disposed of?

A second trial is scheduled for March 1. In the meantime, it might be nice to hear from Hal's most ardent critics. What do they have to say about Hal now that it turns out what he was doing on the air was an FBI operation designed to protect America?

Brazilian Newspaper Cries "Foul" Over FBI Operative Hal Turner

UPDATED SUNDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2009

Sao Paolo, Brazil -- This Sunday, the largest newspaper in Brazil, "o Globo" will be running a major front-page story about the continuing U.S. criminal case involving radio host Hal Turner. According to sources with knowledge of the pending story, the newspaper Fohla de S. Paolo, which is the Brazilian version of the New York Times will report this week that the United States sent ". . . . an American spy, Hal Turner . . . . to spy on Brazilians."

As reported by "The Record" newspaper of New Jersey two weeks ago, Turner was a highly trained intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. During a three month investigation, the newspaper revealed it had seen government documents, e-mails, reviewed court records proving that Turner was, in fact, working for the FBI since at least the year 2003, but other government documents reveal Turner was with FBI since 1993.

Among the revelations by the newspaper, Turner was sent overseas by the FBI. One country specifically named in the newspaper was Brazil, where Turner uncovered a plot to ship non-military goods to the Iraqi-resistance who are battling US troops in Iraq.

While some doubted initial media reports that Turner was anything more than a paid informant for the FBI, eyebrows were raised by testimony given by an FBI official during Turner's trial.

Last week during trial in federal court, FBI Supervising Special Agent Amy Pickett, the third highest ranking FBI Official in New York City, took to the witness stand and stunned the courtroom when she testified "Hal Turner dealt with national security; the national security of the United States." She went on to testify that Turner "dealt with things that affected a lot of people" and applauded Turner as being "highly reliable" and an intelligence operative whose information was "very accurate." Pickett testified "When he [Turner] said something was going to happen, it did. . . . . ."

According to souces in Brazil, the Brazilian newspaper expects their story to cause a national scandal in that country because the Brazilian government was not told that the U.S. was sending a "spy" to their country. It is expected that Brazil will file a formal protest with the U.S. State Department, decrying the fact that the US Government sent "a spy" to Brazil to "spy on Brazilian citizens."

This blog will provide a link to the Brazilian newspaper story once it is published.

FAMILY OPINION

The ironic part of this entire affair is that none of this had to come out. If it wasn't for the fact that Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hogan and William Ridgway in Chicago were so hell bent on prosecuting an opinion as though it were a threat, none of Hal's information would now be a public spectacle.

When Hal was first arrested, he did not divulge his role with FBI publicly. Instead, Hal's attorney, Michael Orozco, disclosed the information privately to Assistant US Attorney Judson Willsy at Turner's first Bail Hearing in Newark NJ the day after the arrest. Willsy seemed aghast at the notion that Hal could ever have been with the FBI and told Orozco "That's bullshit; Hal Turner has no credibility."

Denied bail, Hal still remained totally silent about his role with FBI, figuring it would take the government time to figure things out and that all would be fixed by the time Hal was extradicted to Chicago. He stayed quiet, in jail, for 30 days.

Stunningly, when Hal got to Chicago on July 28. . . . . . more than thirty days after his arrest. . . . . Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hogan persisted in the lie that Hal was dangerous to the community.

Hogan demanded that Hal be remanded without bail even though by that time, records prove that Hogan knew that Hal had been with the FBI for years.

Apparently Hogan perpetuated the lie that Hal was dangerous because Hogan is incapable of admitting he made a terrible mistake bringing this case!

Now that the case against Hal has resulted in a mistrial, with a jury deadlocked 9 not guilty to 3 guilty, even more details of Hal Turner's intelligence opertions for the FBI are likely to come out. As we will soon see with Brazil, the scandals and fallout from such revelations will have an effect on the US Goverrnment.

We, Hal's family can tell you, there is a lot that will come out. It wasn't just Brazil where Hal had overseas dealings. In fact, Hal had dealings with officials from Great Britian, the British National Party and even members of the European Parliament -- all as part of his role with the FBI.

In addition, Hal performed work for an agent - who will be publicly named - from the Central Intelligence Agency; and was tasked by CIA to do something that would ultimately affect the outcome of the Israeli invasion of Lebanon 19 months later!

Yes, things are going to get pretty dicey when Hal's trial starts anew on March 1 in Brooklyn. Just remember that none of this had to come out if it wasn't for the U.S. Attorneys office in Chicago who are mis-representing an opinion as a threat and who are too arrogant to admit they made a mistake or to let go.

Turner Trial Surprise: Hung Jury

Brooklyn, NY -- Radio shock-jock Hal Turner delivered a stinging upset to the federal government today when Jurors in his criminal trial told the judge they were "hopelessly deadlocked."

Expecting the jury vote to be lopsided in favor of the government, prosecutors and the judge in the case were utterly stunned when it was revealed that Jurors had voted 9 NOT GUILTY to 3 guilty!

Making this even more stunning is that Turner did not offer any defense -- his lawyers called no witnesses and presented no evidence, but instead tore into the governments own evidence and own witnesses almost totally discrediting the government's case.

Turner was arrested by the FBI on June 24, twenty days after posting on his blog that three federal judges on the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals were "traitors" to the United States who "deserve to be killed" for violating the US Constitution and for intentionally ignoring a recent ruling by the US Supreme Court.

The FBI charged Turner with "threatening to assault and murder" the three judges! Turner was held in federal prison for 119 days without Bail before being released on $500,000 cash only.

The government contends that saying the Judges "deserve to be killed" is a threat to actually kill them. Turner's lawyers argued that saying someone "deserves" anything is merely an opinion. Opinions, be they oral or written, are protected free speech.

Clearly, the Jury agreed since 75% of Jurors voted NOT Guilty.

In a troubling development, one of the Jurors who voted GUILTY was interviewed by the New York Daily News and revealed something startling: Instead of applying the law as he swore to do, the Juror told reporters "[Turner] "He's a publicity seeker and he wants to be a bigger force than he was. It is not the role of a juror to decide to convict someone for any reason other than for breaking the law. The fact that this juror admits that another reason drove his decision shows that political considerations came into play; something that is forbidden in Jury trials.

PROSECUTOR WHINES ABOUT THIS FAMILY BLOG

In another interesting development, Assistant U.S. Attorney William Hogan asked the court to gag Defense Attorneys from speaking to the media and also asked the court to order this "Family of Hal Turner" blog shut down!

The judge instructed Defense attorneys to stop talking to the media but declined to order this blog shut down.

"The U.S. Attorney is clearly ashamed of his ongoing vicious assault upon freedom of speech and wants to operate in secret" said one person attending today's trial. "That's how government
goons like to operate - in secret" she continued.

We are able to tell you that the most prestigious program in broadcast TV news, "60 Minutes" had a camera crew at the Brooklyn federal courthouse today while two executive producers from that show sat in the courtroom during Turner's trial earlier this week. The fact that the most-viewed news program in the world is interested in the shenanigans taking place in this case is a good sign.

We wonder what Assistant US Attorneys William Hogan and William Ridgway will do when they arrive at work one day to a "60 Minutes" news crew asking them why they are prosecuting an American citizen for uttering an opinion.

It ought to be fun to watch them try to squirm their way out of that on national TV!

JUDGE HAS SOME EXPLAINING TO DO TOO

What makes the Turner case so astounding is that federal district Judge Donald Walter who is presiding over the case, turned his back on more than 40 years of Supreme Court case law and allowed the case against Turner to proceed.

It is long settled in the USA that advocating violence is lawful as long as it is done in a context which does not lend itself to imminent lawlessness. That precedent was established in the case "Brandenberg v. Ohio" back in 1969 and has been rock-solid free speech case law ever since.

We suspect that "60 Minutes" might ask Judge Walter if he chose to ignore "Brandenberg" because his knickers are in a twist over the nasty remarks Turner made about his fellow judges.

Next Wednesday evening on NBC, an episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" will air. The show appears to be partially inspired by Hal Turner's case!

In ads for the show, the voice-over says "Can a patriotic radio host inspire someone to kill?"

While no one ever died because of "The Hal Turner Show," Hal is presently on trial for saying that three federal judges "deserve to be killed."

Since all "Law & Order" episodes are "ripped from the headlines," it's clear to us that Hal's case--which made national news last June--may have inspired this upcoming TV show!

Newark, NJ -- A federal subpoena has been issued for New Jersey Governor-elect Chris Christie to appear at the upcoming trial of radio host and blogger Hal Turner.

Mr. Chrisite was the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey during the years that Hal was working for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. Hal worked for the FBI from 2002 - 2008.

Both during and after Turner worked for the FBI, the U.S. Attorney's Office issued a "Blanket letter of declination" which officially declined to prosecute Hal for things he wrote on his blog and things he said on radio.

BLOGGER FIGHTS INCITEMENT CHARGE

Hartford, CT – New Jersey talk-radio host and blogger Hal Turner appeared in State Court in Hartford today for a Status Conference in connection with charges of inciting injury to property or persons. Turner was charged by Connecticut State Capitol Police
(CSCP) on June 3 after he published an editorial on his blog suggesting Connecticut residents should “take up arms” against two state legislators and one other state official who Turner says misused their public offices to harass and attack the Catholic Church.

Turner published his opinion on his radio show web site on June 2 and promised to reveal the home addresses of the three officials the next day during his live radio show. That show did not air because New Jersey Police arrested Turner on a Warrant out of Connecticut which alleged Turner was a FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE who had committed “Harassing Communications.”

Turner was jailed without bail as a Fugitive for five days until a New Jersey Judge released him because the Fugitive Warrant was FALSE. In those 5 days, Connecticut officials changed the charge to incitement. Turner was released on $25,000 bail in New Jersey, and then posted a second $25,000 bond in CT because state officials refused to accept the New Jersey Bond.

As a matter of law, Turner committed no crime at all. His web site posting was protected free speech under the First Amendment as interpreted by the US Supreme Court in the landmark case “Brandenburg v. Ohio.” In that case, the court ruled that all speech is protected as long as it meets the following two criteria:
1) The speech is not designed to elicit imminent lawlessness, AND;
2) Imminent lawlessness is not likely.
The court went on to define “imminent” as “the time necessary for law enforcement officials to arrive so as to keep the peace.”

Both prongs of the test above must be met before speech can be criminalized. Turner’s blog posting met neither prong and is thus protected.

Calling for citizens to “take up arms” via an internet web site does not lend itself to imminent lawlessness. The notion that people would read something on the internet and run right out with guns is absurd on its face.

The fact that home addresses were to be given out more than 24 hours later during a radio show left ample time for police to resort to other means. They could have deployed a protective detail to the homes of the three officials. They could have sought a restraining order. The CSCP did neither.

Instead, they issued a false fugitive warrant to arrest Turner for a crime that had not yet taken place! No one was incited to do anything and no one could have been incited because no addresses had yet been given out. As such, the arrest was unlawful “prior-restraint” of free speech.

As a result, Turner has instructed his legal team to make a criminal referral to the United States Attorneys office asking for an investigation into whether the actions of CSCP Officer Timothy Doyle, CSCP Chief Fallon and two state legislators violated Title 18, United States Code, Section 242: “Deprivation of rights under color of law.” If the US Attorney finds a violation too place, those officials could face federal felony charges.

Whether or not the US Attorney takes action, Turner’s legal team is confident the charge against him will be dismissed before trial. They have good cause to be confident. It turns out that Hal Turner was a highly trained intelligence operative for the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) from 2003 through 2008 and actually contributed to the FBI’s mission starting back in 1993.

In that role, Turner was highly trained as to exactly what speech was lawful and what was not. He was “tasked” by the JTTF to use fiery rhetoric so as to flush-out crazies before they attacked. It was a very successful intelligence operation that netted more than 100 federal subjects, averted at least ten acts of violence and resulted in numerous arrests.

The defense plans to introduce memos from the United States Attorney Generals John Ashcroft, McClusky and later Alberto Gonzales which laid out the relationship between Turner and the government. They will also produce FBI memos, pay sheets showing the FBI budgeted $100,000 or more per year for Turner, and correspondence between the FBI and then-U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Christopher Christie detailing the training, pay and operating parameters of the intelligence operation code named “Valhalla.”

Christ Christie was elected Governor of New Jersey earlier this month, and his involvement in this FBI operation could prove to be his first scandal.

FBI memos describe Turner as “irreplaceable” and go on to say his being with the JTTF is “. . . . .crucial . . . . .to the prevention of domestic terrorism and lone wolf attacks in the United States.”

In the years Turner served the FBI he uncovered Narcotics funding of terrorist groups, unlawful manufacturing and distribution of silencers for hand guns, he stopped the black market sale of Military Hardware used in Stealth aircraft, located a pipe bomb maker, prevented the arson-murder of a Jewish college student in Tennessee and much more.

He achieved this by portraying himself as a radical, racist “bad boy” on the radio. Turns out, it was all an FBI front.

According to the law and the facts of the case, the state’s chances of prevailing in this matter are exactly zero. Turner expects to be cleared and may sue both the state and the individual officers for false arrest, false imprisonment, executing a false fugitive warrant, and a host of other civil claims.

Students Protest FBI over Hal Turner

College students protested the FBI for hiring Hal Turner as an Intelligence Operative for the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

While these particular kids are misguided Communists, protesting that the FBI funded a pro-white media host and pro-white media outlet (Turner Radio Network), others showed up to protest the FBI's BETRAYAL of Hal Turner.

Turner was arrested by the FBI on June 24, 2009 after he wrote an editorial which was critical of three federal judges. In the editorial, Turner called the judges traitors and tyrants. He
quoted Thomas Jefferson who said "The tree of Liberty must be replenished from time to time with the blood of tyrants and patriots," and later said: "Let me be the first to say this plainly, these judges deserve to be killed."

The FBI claims that saying the judges "deserve to be killed" is a threat to "assault and murder" them. Turner says his words are just an opinion.

Turner was hired by the FBI in the year 2002, but the bureau revealed Turner had actually "contributed to the FBI's Mission since 1993." they trained him as an Intelligence Operative and
provided extensive legal advice about what is lawful, protected speech as opposed to unlawful speech. Turner relied on that training while writing his editorial but was arrested by the FBI
anyway.

After being held in federal prison for 119 days, Turner was freed on $500,000 bail on October 21, 2009. His trial is set for sometime in late November in Brooklyn, NY.

The family of Hal Turner is pleased to announce that Hal is to be released on $500,000 bail. We expect to post bail by Monday, October 19, 2009, and to have Hal released by October 23, 2009.

In preparation for his expected release, Federal Marshals transported Hal from the US Prison in Chicago, IL to the Federal tier in a NJ Prison near Hal's home town of North Bergen, NJ.

Once released, Hal will be under house arrest and gag order, forbidding him from talking to the media.

Hal was arrested by the FBI on June 24, 2009 after publishing an editorial which was critical of three federal judges. The editorial quoted Thomas Jefferson and described the judges as traitors. The FBI claims the editorial is a threat to murder, Hal says the editorial is his opinion.

Over the course of the last two months, a large ans well respected media outlet in the New York City area has been conducting an investigation into Hal's arrest. We expect major coverage of the results of their investigation to become public very soon.
